DISH Network 100 dollar ripoff and shocking customer service to boot! ATLANTA Georgia

I am a diplomat and i landed on American shores 2 months ago anticipating paradise. longing for a bit of home, I signed up for dish network's mega international package and was told i woud be receiving monthly credits totalling 100 USD. During the signing up, I was asked for my social number. I explained to them that having just arrived, I do not have a social number but I do have a diplomatic ID issued by the US Govt. I gave them this number and the process went through. A couple of days ago when I got my first bill, I was shocked to see it did not reflect any credit. When I called their helpline, I was told that this was because I had not subscribed to any American channels! This sounded like absolute nonsense so I emailed to their customer service. When I got the reply I was aghast- it said that since I had not provided a social number I would not get any credit! I felt absolutely ripped-off because at no point of time during my interaction with this company had I been told such a thing. There is no document or contract which lays anything of the sort. I shot off an angry mail to the customer feedback, asking them to check the conversations they had with me and which they taped and prove that what they were saying had any basis. Its been a week now, i've received no response. After reading other dish complaints on the internet i've concluded this company are frauds and should be avoided.
