We signed up in November, we had problems with both boxes immediately, had them out 4 times in 2 weeks, problem still not resolved!  We got so tired of calling and complaining, we let it go for a few months, that was a mistake.  Last calls were still noting the problem still existed, but now we had to pay for them to come out eventhough we pay for a protection plan at $6.99 per month! The visit is normally $95.00 they told us, but we are so lucky to only pay $15.00 for each visit to fix the SAME problem that still exists from day 1!

We finally had another appointment scheduled for this past Monday 3/5/12 for 8:00-12:00 pm, I happen to have needed to call them on Sunday night to reschedule it, they told me it was already closed???? No explanation for this, so we made another appointment for 3/6/12 for 12:00-5:00 pm, guess who shows up on MONDAY at 8:19 am on a closed ticket??? DISH, Then on Tuesday when they are actually supposed to be there, he never shows up!!!!  Waited till 5:40 pm, no guy!  WAITED ALLLLL DAY, gosh I hate that!

I had had this happen now for the 4th time, they show up on a day when they are not supposed to, with NO RECORD on the system either???? then they don't show up when they are supposed to.

I have a contact of Leo Avalos (corporate - supposedly) at 303-942-8600 x 80678 - he is an a*s, will not help at all, made an empty promise that they will be there on the 6th! I called him back to let him know what had happened on Monday/Tuesday and got voicemail, and no reply in days, so I sent him an email to an unknown email he gave me - ertfax@dish.com and no reply from that either.

Oh yeah, we had to give them a fake phone number in their system as it CONSTANTLY calls us over and over again with nobody on the other end... So we changed 1 digit so we could remember it when we call in for things.  BUT...... that really doesn't work either cuz when we enter our (fake) number in the system to access our account, it says it's invalid.  And they cannot call us before they are to arrive at our home, because the number is wrong, we told them the real number, just don't put it in the system, maybe in the notes, and what do they do??? It has been changed 9 times!  We are also on their do not call list, but it keeps putting us back on as soon as we hang up, we call back, and we are not on the list again???

We had to give our Social Security number for a credit check to sign up????? and a credit card of course - I saw a reply from someone that said to report your card lost and they will cancel the card, then how can they bill you right??? We don't want the TV service for free, we want if OFF TODAY but without the horrible fee of $17.50 per month of the 24 month contract that we have lots left on.

We used to be with DISH many years ago, but switched over to ATT Uverse, we should have never left, their boxes are much more superior than Dish's, their service it fantastic, we only switched to get Sirius Radio again.  what a Freaking Mistake this was!  I think we are stuck eventhough I feel as though they are in breach of their contract to us as they are not providing us with proper service and we cannot even get someone out to fix it???

Can anyone suggest another way out so we don't screw up our credit???  We are getting absolutely nowhere with this, and I am at my wits end....

PLEASE HELP US........They have such STUPID people working there, and good people need jobs... Go figure...
