DISH NETWORK new customer scared to see my first bill! GARNER,NC 27529 North Carolina

new customer w/ dish network. 7 different workers, 1 has been in our home twice. new tv purchased then told we needed new dish. it was placed right by old dish which was left. our home was wired twice aswell. two workers i would never have let in w/o my husband at home.

I am now scared to see my first bill after reading these reports. I will continue to update my report after my bill.

dish network billing

i see that your a new cutomer with dish network. ive been in the satellites business since 1984. i dont know what youve been told. youve signed a 2 year agreement. your very first bill will be for 2 months up front .then they bill you monthly after that. if your late they charge a 10.00 late fee. if you downgrade your package they will charge you a 5.00 fee for downgrading. if you side grade like changing one moviechannel for another they will charge a 5.00 fee for side grading. they now charge a 5.00 fee for using a debit or credit card for paying your bill. if you turn it off or they turn if off for non pay . their will be a 25.00 re connection fee. if your under contract and break the agreement. they will charge you for that. after 12 months they will start charging you a warranty fee of 6.00. i dont understand why the didnt just take the old dish down. all their dish's fit the same pipe. if the dish was mounted to the roof. make sure it was sealed to the roof using silicon sealeant. i use those big tubes for the chaulking gun and use 1/2 the tube when mounting to the roof. somewhere in your contract dish says they reserve the right to change the contract and the price of programming when ever they want without giving you any pryor notice. but ive never seen them do that for people under contract. not saying it couldnt happen but none of my customers have call complaining. i hope it works out for some of dish network and directv installers scare me too. in the fact they dont know what they are doing...
