Dish Network Contract Fraud Ripoff Bait & Switch Sacramento California

Dish Network is ripping consumers off! I recently tried to sign up for dish network, i had signed up on the internet. I selected an option that listed "no contract" because I was paying a $49.99 installation fee. There was a second option to have that fee waived, but because I did not want a contract, I paid the installation.

The installer came out, installed the entire hookup. The installer tried to get me to sign off on the installation, but I though I should call Dish to confirm my account. They told me since I was a returning customer, I had an 18 month contract. I used to have Dish Network like 6 years ago in a different house in a different state, but since I specifically selected NO CONTRACT in my online application (I have copies printed) I explained to the agent on the phone that the only was I would sign up was if I did not have the contract.

The girl on the phone would not waive the contract, her name was Cambria (operator ID: 9VJ). She insisted that since I was a "returning" customer, I could only have an account with a contract!!! SO, I told the installer to remove all of the equipment from my house. 5 hours after he came to my house, he was gone.

BE SURE YOU CALL AND ASK IF YOU ARE SIGNING A CONTRACT FOR 18 MONTHS WITH DISH NETWORK! It doesn't matter what you selected online, they will lie to you and try to get you to sign a contract without proper discloser. It is a total Bait and Switch operation!
