dishplanet.com inappropriate credit card charges Ripoff Eugene

I called dish planet in hopes to set up dish network in my new home. When I first called, they told me I was "uneligible" for dish network, which is a lie. Then they proceeded to try to set me up for DirecTV instead. I was okay with this. We went through the whole process, I told the salesperson that I wanted a DVR, and all the movie channels. At the end of the list he told me there would be a $150.00 deposit that they would pay back $10.00 a month for 15 months on my bill, which is ridiculous, and on TOP of that a $50.00 fee for installation. I said this was okay, and he charged my card the $200.00. After the charge, he decided to tell me that he had NOT included the Tivo DVR system which I specifically asked for up front. He said it would cost another $100.00!

Well I didn't have that kind of money to spend on TV so I told him no, to cancel the whole transaction. He said he would get his supervisor to cancel it since it already charged my card. I then spoke with Julia the supervisor, who told me that the person who does their voids was "not in yet" and that she would call me back. She did call back about a half an hour later saying that the debit was voided. Fine, dandy, whatever. I called dish direct and got everything set up perfectly for less than $70.00.

Two days later I go to get money out of my bank account, and it is NEGATIVE over a hundred dollars! I called the bank and they said "Oh no, dishplanet has not reversed that charge yet". I have been on hold with dishplanet for almost twenty minutes, I cannot speak with a supervisor, and I demanded that they call my bank and tell them to cancel the charge. Dishplanet claims is it canceled, but my BANK STATEMENT says otherwise, and I am more inclined to believe the people who have my MONEY. I am very displeased with the service that dishplanet has given me and I would NOT recommend anyone use their services.
