Diversified Consultants unfair debt collection practices, harassing collection agency Jacksonville Florida

I have attempted to deal with Diversified Consultants when I had a previous account from a wireless provider go into collections. I legitimately had an account in collections which I made arrangements to pay off the balance over a few months. Money was drafted from my checking account, the balance was paid and they left me alone for a almost six months. After some time, they contacted me again and according to them, not only did I not pay the balance due on the intial account but three more accounts with different account numbers from the same carrier miraculously appeared. These new debts I supposedly owe also popped up on my credit report this year putting a significant dent in my score.

I filed disputes with all three credit bureaus and much to my surprise, the credit bureaus reported after their investigation that the debt I owe is valid. I have answered their calls trying to sort through when the debts ocurred, why they weren't known when I payed off the first account and how I could have a sum total of four accounts in collections from one carrier. Every representative I have spoken to has been rude and uncooperative to varying degrees (some were flat-out vicious) and they all refuse to do any sort of research to find any information beyond a balance due.

I'm at my wits end with them and I don't know how to make them go away without paying them money I rightfully do not owe. They use local proxy numbers to place their calls so it's difficult to identify them and not mistake it for a genuine call from my local area but as of this writing, I have 9 of their numbers "blacklisted". They are relentless, ruthless and they don't care what they have to do to get paid.
