DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! THEY ALSO OPERATE UNDER THE NAME "WE LIKE TO MOVE IT -MOVE IT"  BEWARE- THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS- THEY WILL DAMAGE AND LOSE YOUR BELONGINGS.

I have been holding off writing this review until now to give these creeps the benefit of the doubt. The mandatory legal limit has now passed for them to refund me my 'loss' and they have done everything in their power to circumvent the process. I have sent email after email and called numerous times to track the status of my claim, which is over $1000.00!!! They make up any and all excuses NOT to help me.The call is always handed off to a new employee who doesn't know how or want to resolve the issue. They lie about EVERYTHING - from the cost of the shipment to claiming they don't know what happened to all the damaged furniture that they delivered. I am certain there is NOT a claims department anywhere to be found here.  I have already filed a complaint w/ DOT - and taken the steps to start litigation against them. I strongly suggest anyone else who has suffered a loss at the hands of Sharon and his 'movers' do the same!

1. The estimate was grossly underbid at $1500. They arrived at my storage unit and informed me that there were some loose items that needed to be packed for moving. As I was already in another state and having them move my belongings from California- I agreed to let them do it as long as it did not cost me too much more(there were not that many loose items). Amy from Divine Van Lines (who is a MESS) told me that she was sure it wouldn't and would call me back w/ a final price. The issue here is that these scammers start packing their truck so if you don't LIKE/AGREE with the final price they threaten to take your belongings and hold them. They also charge you for this. They make sure you get fu#@ed at every turn.

2. Final shipment came in at almost $2,900 !!!!??? I couldn't NOT pay them because then I'd lose all my furnishing and be out the money I had to pay for the deposit., plus the 2nd payment that is charged at 'moving day' which they make sure and auto charge before they even put 1 box in the truck- .

3. I received a call from a woman named Star @ http://ipayment.com (they are a 3rd party cc processor). Star informed me that Divine Van Lines was attempting to force charge my cc for the 3rd and final payment -even before the shipment was delivered. Star said this was illegal. I told her I had not agreed to that, which I did not. She called Divine and got into an argument w/ Amy (the MESS) and told her that she did not agree with the way Divine was doing business and would put a stop on the charge. Minutes later I received a call from an ANGRY very DISGUSTING Amy.... threatening to hold all of my belongings and sell them off if I did not pay up. I was so distraught that I called Star @ipayment and told her to let it go thru. Star recorded the transaction as being put through 'under duress'. She said she knew what they were up to and could tell in my voice that I was being forced. 

4. When my shipment arrived in Illinois. The driver who operates AMERICAN SPIRIT VAN LINES (a 3rd party) that they do not tell you about- calls and tells me that his truck is too large to fit into my street, loading dock and surrounding neighborhood...HE TOLD ME I NEEDED TO PAY FOR A SHUTTLE TRUCK. This was going to cost an additional $350 THIS IS SUCH BS- I had specifically given Divine SCAM Lines the dimensions of the loading dock, as well as my address and property layout a good month before the shipment arrived. WTF do you do with this information... why ask for it if you intend NOT to use it- This is information that would have helped me make my final decision. You wait until the las minute to TRICK/FORCE/INTIMIDATE consumers into paying you. EXTORT much??!! Again the carrier (Offer who owns AMERICAN SPIRIT VAN LINES) called me from an undisclosed location and would not give me his physical address until I agreed to pay the shuttle fee. 

5. The carrier knew he needed an assistant to help him unload the truck when he arrived in Chicago. He had a month to arrange it. After I was extorted again, the driver told me that he didn't know if he could get help and I..... yes ME... I WOULD HAVE TO come and help him unload the shipment if I wanted my belongings. UNBELIEVABLE!! 

6. My furniture, garden furniture, plates, glasses- ruined! Bed - broken! 

7. I called immediately to notify them and then THIS- Sharon gets on the phone w/ AMY(MESS), ON SPEAKER. They both blame me for how everything went down. No apology, no how can we resolve this.... NOTHING. I threatened to sue, post reviews. They told me I would get $650.00 back if I sign a NON DISCLOSURE!!!  THIS is how they keep bad reviews from surfacing!!
