DJO Global Billed $196.60 for two thumb braces, through doctor's office that I could have ordered from their web site for $44.00 That's nearly $153.00 increase. The doctor's office doesn't bill you. DJO sends you the bill. Wilkes-Barre PA Nationwide

I went to see an Othepdic specialist about the pain in my thmbs and was given two braces to try. The braces ended up being decline [according to DJO] by my insurance company. I get a bill from DJO for $196.60 for the two braces. Anyone can order the same brace from DJO's website for $21.99. That's $76.31 difference from picking it up from the doctor's office. When my wife and I, on two seperate occasions tried to speak to someone about the cost all we got was "Sorry about that. If you would like to make a payment I can help you with that."
