I applied for a payday loan and several companies approved me. I chose DJR Group LLC to finance a $300.00 loan. Boy was this the biggest mistake I could possibly have made. The total loan repayment was $390.00 and was due to be made based on my pay periods. I applied for the loan on 08/18/10 and the payment due date was 08/27/10. The contract stipulates if you wish to pay the entire balance, you need to contact DJR Group (3) full business days either by phone or fax to let them know. I faxed a request on 08/23/10 advising them that I wished to pay my loan in full on 08/27/10. I checked my account on 08/27/10 and found that DJR had refinanced my loan, deducted 90.00 plus a 20.00 charge for I don't know what. I called and asked why did they refinance my loan and they stated I did let inform them ina timely manner. Okay, I informed them on 09/3/10 that I wished to pay my loan in full on my next pay date which would be 09/10/10. I called them on Monday 09/13/10 to see if the loan had been taken out and was told that it takes around (3) days to confirmed this, but it was documented in my notes from 09/03/10 that I wanted to pay the loan in full. I called again on today 09/15/10 to verify if the request had been processed and was told by someone who evidently didn't know very much that it had not been processed to check back tommorrow. I stated to her that I needed to find some answer now. She then stated that my full payment would be deducted 09/24/10. I asked her for what amount and she stated $390.00. I told her h**l no, this is a bunch of bull s**t. You have already deducted 90.00 plus 20.00 from my account on 09/10/10 if though I called on 09/3/10 to have the loan paid in full, but ypu took it upon yourself to refinance my loan anyway although notes were in my account stating this information. I told them I refuse to pay another $390.00 and I would report them to the Better Business Bureau. What purpose does it serve to send in a (3) day request to pay your loan in full when you are going to refinance the loan without permission an keep charging a 90.00 refinance fee plus an additional 20.00. I told them they were full of s**t and I need to talk with someone else. They stated they would call me at my place of employment on tomorrow. I would advise no one to use this company.
