We moved from Arizona in a hurry. Our daughter became involved with a gang and set the gang after our family. We had to pick-up and move within a week. I told Tamara this on the phone. She said that she could help us out and to not worry. She told us it would cost $9000 to move which included any packing material that they used.

They were to be there by 6 am the morning of the move. They didn't get there until the late afternoon. The 'movers' that came were anything but professional. They were all gang members. They had the jail tats to prove it. We were already having trouble with the gang there and the movers were calling that gang to tell them what we had and what was going on!

The 'movers' packed 90% of our things yet they labeled everything 'owner packed'. I told them that the boxes had fragile items inside...40 year old china with nothing wrong with it. They were dropping them onto the dollies from 6 ft up and then standing at the back of the truck and dropping them off onto the ground because they were packing the truck wrong.

When they finally finished packing the truck, the next evening, they raised our bill to $28000. We had to get a loan to move. They were going to take or things. There was nothing that we could do.

When it came time to sign the papers, they said nothing about other insurance that was available and I didn't get to see what was written on the forms. Just the signature lines.

Everything was very stressful, our lives being threatened and police watching our house to try to keep us safe until we could leave and they took advantage of it.

When we finally got our items, EVERYTHING was smashed and broken. All of our furniture has scratches and gouges in it. All of our boxes were squashed. Our safe was scratched over all of the surfaces. We are still looking for items.

Even when the driver opened the truck to unload, he saw the damaged and signed the paper for us stating that the movers damaged everything due to the way that they loaded the truck.

We have been fighting with their "insurance" company since August. We finally heard from them today, the end of February. They are willing to settle for $390 on 48000 pounds of furniture and boxes!

Our homeowners insurance won't cover it. So now we have nothing but damaged property and a huge loan to pay.

Not sure what to do now. Anyone having any luck getting their money back from these ripoffs?
