i am writing this report because i have mailed a total money order for the amount of 16.78. for a prize i told i won it was a 35mm photographic equipment. i mailed the money order to dmi central clearing house on 3/2/2013. i have received nothing as of 4/10/2013. i am very upset i heard nothing and very discouraged about sending an money because i believed in the notice because i did not have money to throw away.this incident has made feel no trust in any award services.

Having no trust in any award services that first require you to send them money is probably a good place to start.  Be glad the lesson only cost you $16.78

You said:  ".this incident has made feel no trust in any award services."

This is a good policy and good advice.

Unless it's something you entered or applied for and they are just sending it to you with no request for money, you can be 100% sure it's a scam.

First, you don't win something you didn't enter.

Second, I you win something legitimate, they will not ask for money.
