DOBA Renewed with out my permission saying that i did not cancel before expiration. Orem Utah

I signed up for Doba and did not find their servecies as cost effective as advertised. And since the initial yearly cost was not refundable, I just thought I would not renew when that time came around again. I work a late shift, and when they called for a renewal, my wife told them that I would not be renewing the account and they refused to acknowledge her. She was told that I was responsable for a cancelation. Doba called again and when I did return and told them that I would not renew, I was told that I was past the experation date and was automatically renewed. When I signed up for Doba, I signed up with the phone number given on their web site. I was not told or informed that if you do not cancel before an experation date you were automatically renewed. I have tried to cancell the renewal, but was rudely told that my account was already renewed and would be canceled after next year. I assumed that my wife was my agent in these matters also and could act as my representative. Doba did not acknowledge her. Now I am emotionally zapped...
