Docusign upsells customers into much larger accounts than they need, then has them sign a contract which they will not modify even if you go out of business. They are unresponsive after the salesmen lie and guide you into a file size much larger than you actually will need. There are so many better, customer service focused firms out there. Docusign will take funds from your account and refuse to work with you. Beware, this company only wants one thing your money. Their customer service is horrible, the software is much harder to work with than other service providers and their alleged training is the worst you will ever find. I would recommend to stay far far away from this disreputable firm. You sign the contract UP FRONT for all the envelopes you will need during the year, if by chance you go below or above they will sock you for hundreds of dollars, non-refundable of course and since they have their contract signed up front, there is nothing you can do about it but get the shaft from Docusign. PS, they don't care.

Ignoring the problem

Notice that the reply does NOT respond to the underlying problem, that our firm went out of business and Docusign refused to modify a contract. They via phone have also refused to budge one inch in any manner on this and instead insist that their contracts are "iron-clad" and that they "do not budge". They would not extend the term of the contract allowing us to re-coop at least some of the envelopes purchased, they would not accept an early discounted pay off fee, they would not modify the contract to allow a lesser number to be purchased. This alleged "delightful" customer service is total mockery since it does not allow for the underlying solution to be found. Although reasonable modification offers were presented, they will not work with us in ANY WAY. They are a blatant rip off company, getting unwary small business owners to sign contracts UP FRONT with ZERO recourse to the client. Stay away from Docusign there are many others to work with.

John,
Im sorry that your DocuSign experience was so frustrating. We take pride in our first-class customer service and we do everything in our power to delight our customers.
We offer support via email, live chat, and phone (for those that pay for that level of service). We also have weekly live training every Thursday at 10am PST, a DocuSign YouTube channel with how-to videos, and a forum to assist our customers in solving their issues. If live webinars, videos, and forum posts aren't enough, on our website we also have FAQ's, additional videos, and product updates and other documentation.
We checked in our system and couldnt find an account under John Costas so we cant verify the type of account you are/were signed up for. However, if you signed up for an annual account, the expectation would have been that you would keep the service for that period and time and be charged accordingly.
Please feel free to reach out to us with the email address you used to sign up for DocuSign and we can verify the nature of your account or assist you with utilizing the service for which you are currently subscribed.
Regards,
DocuSign Customer Support
