Dollars Rent a car Sharjah Branch Careless Renting a car Company Sharjah-UAE Nationwide

 Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Rıdvan Sonugur. I have rented a Nissan Sunny White from Dollar.com from Sharjah Airport with the agreement number SAPS24116 on 24.01.2016. We have paid for the full insurance package as I do not want to pay any fines in a situation of an accident. And on 28.01.2016, somebody has made a scratch in the bumper in the parking lot across the Dubai World Trade center and run. We have called the police using “999”, waited for 1 hour for an officer to come to the site, when the police came, he didn’t even got off from his bike and directed us to go to a police station nearby even we said that it is a rental car. We went to the nearest police station, the officers wanted us to call “999” and as for a policeman to get to the crash site!!!! We, again went to the crash site, called 999 and the police who is taking the call directed us to the nearest police station!!!! This was really amusing. Then, I called your reception at the Sharjah airport, told the lady everything and she said they would need to get a police report. But the police wasn’t doing their duties, and I kindly asked her to call the police. Then, when I came back to Turkey, I had received an e-mail saying that the repair costs are at 250 AED for such a minor scratch. Now, I want to ask you something. If the local policeman is not working properly, what is the use of making a full insurance? Also, can you please inform me who is deciding these damage costs and on which basis they are deciding about it. As you may check from your records, I have been renting cars from Dollar.com every year and please believe me that this is not about the amount of the cost that you are applying. But, I bought the full insurance package for situations like this one and if the local police is not doing their duties, there is no meaning in buying such an insurance package. Also, please be informed that we have extracted dollar.com from our suppliers' list. I am waiting for your comment as soon as possible.
