Dolphin International - IMCA Shipping Ripoff Con Merchants scammed me out of over $3000 and never delivered my furniture and to add insult to injury never respond to e'mails & hang up on you if you call Coral Springs Florida

Moving is stressful enough at the best of times but IMCA shipping and there affiliates Dolphin international have made it an impossible task & 10 times more stressful.

I like the many other victims...(yes!! that's what we are!!) have fallen prey to the so called service levels of the above mentioned companies.

I have relocated back to the UK and like a sucker employed the services of IMCA shipping under the presidency of Richard Machado to deal with my shipment.

As with all the other messages I have read, the initial contact by Suzanna was great, but there it failed the phrase "kept fully informed of their shipment" (that's actually written in my contract!! disappears as soon as you pay your money.

I paid my money $3040 and was told that my furniture would be picked up & packed for me on 6/29/04, it was picked up by Right on Time Mover (3201 Tyrone Blvd, St Pete's FL 33710).

6 weeks later in the UK no furniture, I phoned, I emailed, I left message after message..no answer. I was after ringing on the hour every hour managed to find out that Dolphin International under Kathryn Kaiser was dealing with my shipment.. it was still in the warehouse as I needed to pay an extra $1000 dollars due to a larger cubic footage than initally quoted.

Like a fool I did, no furniture still, I rang Richard Machado the president (IMCA)to express my diatisfaction with the service, he promised to call me back. He didn't. After numerous phone calls & as many e'mails I finally got my 1st piece of positive information on 14th September some 3 months later that my shipment left miami on 10th sept and would be in UK in 2 weeks & that he would forwrd the bill of lading to me for my information. Today, i have still not received the information, I phone him, he just hangs up, Kathryn is never available (I wonder if she actually exists).. Kelly the receptionist says she'll leave a message for you, you never hear from anyone.. I have even enlisted the help of my brother who resides in the states to phone, Richard hangs up on him too!!

I WANT what I have rightfully PAID FOR, a service & a shipment of my furniture.... Richard/Kathryn FULFILL YOUR LEGAL CONTRACT & deliver my furniture, better still try communicating with your customers.

ANY HELP WITH THIS IS GRATEFULLY RECIEVED, I am complaining to the FMC (FEDERAL MARITIME COMMISSION)too!!
