Today at Dom Demarcos, Las Vegas, NV was the WORST experience I've had at a restaurant in my ENTIRE LIFE!  It happened on 9/10/2014 at 6:30pm.

Went in for happy hour with a good friend.  We had three beers each and a pizza.  All was good.

I mentioned to the waiter that I had a valupak.com (20% off the total bill) coupon at the start of the meal and he said, "fine I'll take it at the end."  Note -  Dom Demarcos puts these coupons out every month and they will not honor them.  Read more.

We finished our meal and I gave the waiter the 20% off coupon.  He comes back and says the manager won't honor this.  I asked why.  He said he'll be out to tell you.  I told the waiter before we ordered anything that we had a coupon.  If this was true, why wasn't I told before we ordered.  Part of the scam...

This guy comes out and stands over me with his arms folded (trying to intimidate me and my friend), and tells me he's the manager of the whole place and says, "What's the problem?"

I told him I had a 20% off coupon from valupak.com and was using it.

He tells me its not valid during happy hour.  You get happy hour on the drinks or the coupon, you can't get both.

I told him, "There isn't a happy hour restriction on the coupon.  It says plain and clear - 20% off your total bill, Monday through Friday."  Note - If they don't honor this, technically its fraud.  You can't give out coupons, have the waiter say he'll take it at the end, and then say you won't honor them after I ate my meal!

He says, "Yes, but its restricted to certain days."

I said, "RIGHT, Monday through Friday!  Today's WEDNESDAY!!"

Then the manager says, "why are you yelling at me!  Now you're going to yell at me?"

I told him, "I'm not yelling at you.  You're going to fight with me in the middle of the restaurant over a $10 off coupon???  I come here twice  a month and bring people from out of town here every other month!  This is stupid!"

Then the manager says, "Ok, you're yelling at me and calling me stupid."  Getting off the subject of him cheating me out of my coupon.

No, I said, "THIS is stupid."

Note- This next comment is SHOCKING!!!!!

This manager then says, "Have you ever come in here on the weekends?  We're packed!  We don't need you!!! Get out of here!!  You, your family and friends are all banned for life!!!  Never come back in here, we don't need you!"

WHAT!!!!! LOL!!!

I KNOW!  This is sooooo ridiculous that most of the people reading this will not believe it!  I still don't believe it and it just happened to me!!!

Then the manager throws me and my buddy out of the place, following us out to the door!  We didn't get the 20% off, we got 100% off.  He didn't even want the money for our meals!

OK.  PLEASE TELL ME.  What manager throws two people out and bans all of their family and friends for life over $10????  $10!!!  And starts an argument and fight in the middle of a restaurant over a $10 coupon they are supposed to honor anyway?!?!  Then gives you $50 worth of food for free.  Ha!  This is how Dom Demarcos runs a business?? This is how they treat people??  If they're making SO MUCH money on the weekends (as the manager says) why don't they honor their coupons??

And as a manager, you'd rather give someone $50 in free food than $10 off and collect $40 from them?  Does this make any sense at all?  I honestly think this guy might either be on drugs or something!  WHO WOULD DO THIS???  If I owned this place and someone gave me a FAKE coupon, I would take it and at least get the $40!  HA!

I've run several business and have seen many other businesses fail because of people like this guy.  Every week they tell several families to never come back over nothing, and eventually 2-3 years down the road there's no one left and they close their doors!!  Believe me, me and my friend are NOT the first people this guy has thrown out and banned.

Read the reviews online for this place.  Food is great, service is terrible.  I would have to say service here is BEYOND TERRIBLE!!!  It's starts with this manager who runs the entire business and trickles down.

If you bring in a coupon or have a problem with anything, good luck with the manager.  He'll make you and your family feel like a fool and throw you out into the parking lot!!!  He'll fight you in the middle of the restaurant over $10 and embarrass your entire table!  Dom Demarcos is NOT worth the hassle.  #WORSTSERVICEEVER!  0 STARS!

RIGHT!

Once the waiter accepts the coupon before you order anything, and says its good, that's end of story!  I'm making purchases based on the price you said I'm going to pay.  My pizza was over $33 with extra toppings, and I would have passed on them and saved $6 if I knew they were going to come out an hour later and cancel out my coupon.

PLUS, the waiter came to our table 2 minutes before happy hour ended and told us to order now before happy hour ended. Note -  The waiter was OUTSTANDING!!!  He did nothing wrong.  It was all good until the "manager" came out!

Another funny thing. I had a to-go order and a half a pizza left.  The manager just gave us everything.  It just baffles me!  Who just gives someone $50 worth of food over a $10 off coupon.  AND the six draft beers we had cost them no more than $6.  What's the logic to lose customers and cause a scene over this?

Having a day later to think about this, this manager who claims he runs the whole place, looks like a cousin in his mid-30's whose balls are too big!

Reading all the bad customer service reviews about this place, this kid is in WAAAAY over his head.  He goes on and on how he runs the whole place, he can do whatever he wants, if you don't like it -- who cares!  Just a VERY cocky disrespectful arrogant young man.

He should NEVER be working with the public in this capacity.  NEVER!  The way he handled the entire situation over several beers that cost him $6 is ridiculous.  This guy needs to be stuck on just making pizzas!  If I owned the place, I'd just get rid of him.  I've had employees like this and even making pizzas, he'd be a cancer to the entire business!

Well, "if" everything happened as you stated, then the manager's behaviour was very bizarre.  If the coupon does not, in fact, state the happy hour restriction (most coupons have exclusions like that at the bottom in tiny print) then he should have acknowledged the error on the coupon, given you your discount, and contacted the advertising company to ensure that no more incorrect coupons were printed. But really, the waiter should have told you upfront when you mentioned the coupon that they weren't going to honor it.
