Dominguez State Jail The facility is unsanitary, all the inmates are contracting Staph inections and they are not turning on the air conditioning in the cells, this Texas heat is getting hotter and the temp inside is 10-15 degrees hotter inside.  San Antonio Texas

Wow Stacy, you are incredibly ignorant. Jail may not be meant to be the Ritz, but it is also not a place of torture. Did you know Dominguez had three heat related deaths this year alone? What if your loved one died in prison? What if you were forced to be kept in 100 + degree heat 24 hours a day. I doubt you would be so obliviously ignorant. It is ignorance like yours that allows lives to slip away in that h*** hole. Why should a man loose his life because he stole so he could buy food for his family? Or better yet, have you even considered the innocent wrongly convicted indivduals incarcerated at that unit? Ignorance is not only bliss but insanely blind. As for the victims? There are two victims in every crime- the one's impacted by the crime itself and the family members of the convicted indvidual who are forced to watch their loved one waste away in this so called 'justice system'. The Texas prison system in it's enitirety is seriously flawed. The purpose of prison should be rehabilitation so individuals can be reintegrated into society as upstanding citizens, not for sole punishment alone. Wow, Stacy, Wow.

 Have you contacted you legislator?? Your congress person to point out these situations??  Jail is not the Ritz get used to it. What did the warden say when you contacted him???? What did your loved one's lawyer say when you contacted him/her???

Please provide me with the statute that states prison inmates have the rights to air conditioning, tv, phones, "prpper meals" and other issues.  Guess that you have respect for the victims of these crimes.   I do
