I was originally contacted by this company in august of 2006. I replied and did not hear a thing from them until 8 months later (violation of FDCPA 30 day response time and collection practices) when a sherriff came to my door with a summons. I replied to the company asking for validation on this debt (when I had it I was an identity theft victim and reported it to the credit bureaus but Providian, the original creditor, did nothing about this debt)and also that it had passed the NC statute of limitations on age. No response from Dominion. I filed my responses with the courts as said to in the summons and I have also filed complaints with my Attorney General. So far nothing but more harrasment about court and a judgement from this company.
