Never Had That Problem

AUTHOR: josh - (United States)

I have bought many vehicles from Dothan Kia and always bought in a no pressure environment so i find it rather odd that you did.  If you felt like you were under that much pressure why did you go back the next day if you felt that uncomfortable?  Did you talk to the General Sales Manager about the experience?

It sounds like you signed a contract and thought there was some sort of 72 hour grace period in the contract. In order for that to be true, it must specifically be in writing in the "4 corners" of the contract you signed. It is not a right awarded by any statute. In fact, if it were to be in the contract that would be a very unusual occurrence. That is why you don't sign the contract until you have completely reviewed (read) it and totally understand what you are signing. Once you sign it, then the vehicle is yours. You are stuck with the terms to which you signed. Now the only thing you can do is make the payments or sell the vehicle and pay the deficiency if any. If you bring the vehicle back to the dealership, it will be considered a repo. Read your contract thoroughly so you have a handle on its terms and conditions.

Car dealers know this ^^^ and that is why they put the pressure on you so hard to sign. When  you are feeling pressured, it is best to get up and walk away before signing so you don't get yourself into a bad deal.

The gestures you mention by the sales rep are totally unprofessional.
