This is a web site for RC vehicles and toys. The heliI bought was advertised as a new, bind-and-fly helicopter from a top brand (Blade). Not only was the item damaged during shipping because of poor, inappropriate packaging, but it was clearly used. It showed an attempt of repairs performed, but they were done poorly. The rotor head was missing a ball bearing and parts of it were damaged. The tail section had a section that was glued together and the tail motor wiring had been cut and patched back together. I could go on with more details, but one get's the idea. The item was in worst shape than some of the ones sold 'used' on ebay. At least there they are disclaimed as 'used'. So don't trust this site and seller.

Before I placed my first order with Doublettrc I called the contact number and got voicemail. I wont order from someone who I cant speak with in person first. I received a return call in about two hours. After explaining what I needed Mr. Treebath told me that the part i needed was the same as another model at two dollars less. He certianly did not have to tell me that as I was buying it regardless. I placed my order one week before Christmas and told him not worry about getting it to me that week because of the holiday mail being so heavy. To my surprise it was in my mailbox three days later.

I Love This Website !!!!!! Doublett all the way !!!

To Whom it may concern:  Hi. I just want to voice my opinion and provide a few of my experiences with Double TT R/C..

I have dealt with this website and also personally dealt with the owner MANY Times and have never been treated like such a valuable customer by ANYONE else ANYWHERE !! I have needed support and had questions about the items I purchased from them along with items that I purchased elsewhere and I was given the best and most accurate information than I have ever got anywhere else. These people treat you as though they have known you forever and make you feel so comfortable (unlike many sellers out there that are just in it for the buck !!) They want to hear from you at ANYTIME day or night Sat or Sun, I mean anytime !!!! I called this place on the 4th of July and asked for some info and they told me to come on over right now... I did and the issue was addressed with my Blade 450 in just a matter of minutes at no charge !! Now remember, this is also one of the models that I purchased from a seller that could care less and will not reply to e-mails or voice mails at all !! As I have already stated, most sellers are only in it for the sale and have no idea what they are even selling. Not DoubleTT, they fly every model and run every car or truck that they handle just so they can provide high quality products & support whenever you are in need !!! Good luck finding anyone else out there that can match any of this !! Also I have purchased a large number of models, parts, etc. from the website and directly from the sellers facility and have always received exactally what I ordered, exactally as described in record time. This website is accurate, meaning if you see an item on the site it is available not out of stock or on back order. Don't you just hate it when you log on to a new R/C website and see something you want and go through all the required process to purchase said item only to find out they don't even have it..  Oh well this occurance is common at any other website out there, you can back order or somehthing but that is it. They won't even respond to an e-mail and by all means won't have a phone number where you can personally talk to the owner ANYTIME. Well this will NEVER happen at doublett, what you you see is what you can get.. no fuss no muss.. these people take their business seriously and really maintain their site !! In fact you can call them anytime and talk to the owner, ask if they have something that you want but don't see it listed, and they will most likely have it and will sell it to you personally ANYTIME !! I can say for a fact from personal experience, that if you have an issue with this facility all you have to do is send an e-mail or call their number and you will receive the best customer service available even if it means refunding ALL your money and you can keep the item. Not at all like all other retailers: Pay the shipping cost back to their store and then wait and see if you ever get a refund. Yes that is right, I have personally dealt with retailers that think that this is the right thing to do, send it back and we will deal with it when it arrives or better yet they will probably say too bad we do not accept any returns... & then hang up !! Well not Doublett they will satisfy you no mater what it takes !!  Anyway give them a try or simply call and talk to them the next time you need help or a new model or just advise !!  You'll see. I do NOT believe any of the not so good comments out there about this company and I have Good Reason Not Too.. you won't either if you ever have the opportunity to deal with them.. FACTS !! I have a friend that bought a heli from doublett that he decided he didn't want as soon as he received it. He called Doublett and explained how bad he felt about not wanting it and that he thought he just made a mistake and the owner said No Problem at all. Just pack it up and send it back and I will refund your payment right now... They told my friend that they fully understand how bad you may want to fly a heli and you may not have the money to simply purchase a different one right away so please take the refund and purchase the heli that you want from a different seller if that is what you really want. They said they fully understand how hard is is to come up with hundreds of dollars just every day and that you should not have to wait. How's that for customer service ??  I'll bet you can't say you have had that happen with ANY retailer !!  These people CARE !! Their goal is to recuit New people to this wonderful exciting hobby and the way they believe in doing so is to treat them with the upmost respect and understanding possible. This is what they say:  "The easiest part of running a business" is free, Just Be Nice !! Money is not everything, the most valuable things in life are FREE just give a little of your heart !!  Good Advice For Everybody, try it and you will sleep like a baby for ever after....  Thank you for reading my opinions and by all means happy flying !!  To follow -up with a comment about the buyer complaining about a damaged heli that he purchased from doublett: All he would have had to do is simply contact the company (doublett r/c) with the concerns he had and that would have been the most pleasant experience he ever had !! Guaranteed !! But if you fail to give ANY supplier an opportunity (as this guy did you can't expect anything better than he got.) So remember anyone can post false information such as this buyer did he didn't even contact doublettrc or he would have shared that info in his complaint. Simple as that !! Please take a few minutes viewers and familiarize yourself with doublettrc.com and while you are there check the reviews on almost ever model they sell. These comments speak for themselves and will put your mind to rest about what is what !!  Thanks Again: Just Another Double TT R/C Satisfied Customer !!

 Buyer did not contact me in any manner and give me an opportunity to work this out. I would have in the very beginning or still yet at this time be very happy to issue a full or partial refund or anything else that would solved this issue if I had been given an opportunity. I personally do not have any control over the shipping conditions and I am fully aware that items do get damaged in transit all the time, this is simply part of the business. The item was packaged in the original packaging with full styrafoam inserts just as the manufacturers ship them.  Anyway if it did indeed get damaged in transit this is something that my business will stand behind 100% "IF" I am contacted and allowed to do so.  I would encourage this buyer to contact me at anytime so I can solve this matter in a professional manner and I also encourage all viewers to visit my website at anytime and review all my customer satisfaction comments and reviews. I feel very bad about this and would really appreciate the opportunity to satisfy this customer as I am very good at & do on a regular basis. I have owned and operated this business for 10yrs now, had  issues of this kind from time to time and have managed to make things right over & over and create a positive experience for ALL my customers whenever something happens such as this. This is an unfair retaliation and now that viewers can see both sides, it most likely be overlooked.
