In the classified adds of Les Pacs, an individual offers a yorkshire terrier puppy for free adoption. I wrote to the individual because I was interested. In the beginning, The e-mails are convincing but when I had questions they were never really answered. When the individual offered to pay the 165$ tranpsort fee or that I could pay upon arrival, I thought that it was too good to be true. When the transaction got close to closing, I was told that before sending the puppy, I had to pay life insurance that was refundable by sending money by Western Union. This was the e-mail I received from the supposedly airline one the individual had prepaid the 165$ for transport fees:

In the e-mail the amount that I had to send did not correspond. First they asked for 65$, then they ask for 180$. There was never any mention about life insurance or any other costs related to the delivery of the puppy. Plus who ever heard about a refundable life insurance? I started to have doubts about this transaction so I looked and internet and found someone from Tenessee that experienced they same thing except she seemed to have caught on faster then me. I want to thank her for publishing because I would have gotten ripped off. See beware of free yorkshire terrier puppies. It's a scam!
