I would like to verify the claims that this doctor is absolutely the worst Doctor I have ever been to for a pain management. However unlike a real doctor I am actually doing this to help others and not mislead anyone with my awards or bravado. Like many my first choice after receiving great health care insurance this year through employment was Dr. Amit Goswami. The name of his company is Epic pain and its ironic because it's truly fitting. Well, where do I begin? A little background I was wounded in war in 2009 at the age of 20. L-5 S-1 up to L-3 disc herniation and DDD as a result. I went in for a visit and boy were my expectations high. Finally a little relief, right?

Wrong. Without hesitation and without even verifying anything I was describing with the text book of paper work I brought in which I was more prepared than he was I was told the gold standard of procedure at Dr. Goswami's practice would be performed. A series of injections. Starting with nerve block injections. NBB or whatever it's called. This is after the typical 350$ out of pocket expense for this initial visit. With no medication other than a mild pain reliever which a child could take. Needless to say you will have to literally complain and file another appointment to even discuss changing your medication. Which I did. And was given enough to get me to the injection date with no call to see how it was working, if it was working, or how I as a patient was doing.

Btw it was working, it was no better at helping, and I was in agonizing pain as I have been primarily for the last 6 years. The last 2 years have been unbearable. Should of got the hint at this point but I didn't I trusted my doctor. Trusted to easily perhaps. Come injection day my fiancé who waited in the waiting room said they were called in by two's every five minutes just as every five minutes another two walked in the door. Essentially a pump and dump wham-bam-thank- you-mam environment. Or circus as I like to call it. The male nurse admitted that this was a temporary pain reliving injection and that I'd be back in a week.

Now I'm beginning to see the whole picture of the cookie cutter converbelt assembly line of milking every patient of every dollar the insuranc company allows through slow manipulation of useless procedures and agonizing calls with the piano music stuck in your head after literally hours of waiting for a response from the doctor himself. I was handed a script once again only lasting 14 days until the next injection. Once home I felt a lot better until 8 hours passed and I'm headed into the emergency room for the worst mind bending pain the human body can even register. Naturally I begged for something stronger and for a normal script how every other normal doctor writes them with a Minimum of 3 refills to alleviate financial constraints. I received nothing. Only ANOTHER REQUEST FOR ANOTHER FOLLOW UP. At this point I was enraged and disgusted at who I was being treated and after 1 week of messages and yelling and crying at the apathetic incompetent staff I receive a call from him. Explaining that I must now take a leave of absence due to prolonged and intensified periods of break through pain even explaining that my fiancé almost left me twice in one month and my job was on the verge of firing me and that all my nightmares were coming true as I knew they eventually would Had I continued
