Dr. Richman was my Court appointed PRE. She diagnosed me with a false perosnality disorder that was written in her PRE report. She lied about our interactionals and completely went with my ex's false allegations without proof of evidence.
At my hearing, Dr. Richman acted as a hostile wtiness glaring at me and accused me of things I don't believe I'm at liberty to write here. She completely changed her position on her recommendations from her filed report to different in her testimony, claiming only that "she erred" which is improper procedure and then even confused herself as to what position she stood on. She even got her own name confused! She did this at the prompting and leading questions of opposing counsel.
I paid Dr. Richman approximatley $5000 for my share of this false report and for her hostile performance in Court; she was supposed to be a neutral PRE. She influenced the magistrate to believe that I'm unable to protect my daughter and that I make poor decisions. I'm a teacher/Coordinator, former public high school coach, Adviser, Mentor of 22 years now in the field of education. I lost decision making rights to my daughter.
After my hearing, I hired on a reputable forensic expert who provided a psychological evaluation of Richman's initial report and Court testimony. His report refuted her findings that I had any disorder as well as he pointed out the faults in her contradictions and the numerous mistakes in her report.
I've appealed my case, and am proceeding pro se as I've completely maxed out my resources.
I have a release statement from Dr. Richman with another child's name on it, which I believe is a HIPPA violation.
I have written to DORA and the CCHR and am interested in connecting with other parents.
The reviews online are consistent. It appears that she will favor whoever recommends her; hires her on. In one of our interactionals she made the statement to me "it's about who you know and how much money one has". She was arrogant and boastful.
There are children involved here! This is not ok. Dr. Richman is still out there, still negatively effecting the lives of others/parents/children.

A professional PRE is competent and non biased. Dr. Richman isn't paid to provide biased responses supporting the payee. This complaint is selfish and personal. She uses DSM personality measures for parents and children to determine what is best for the children. Her interest is in keeping children safe and in the best situation possible for the children's development. She is a state family professional providing complete evaluations for the best interest of the children.
