Dr. Prakash Challa, current U.S. President of Defiance-tech http://www.defiance-tech.com (A Hinduja Group Company) located in Troy, Michigan is under investigation for U.S. Employment Discrimination issues relating from multiple Breach of Contract agreements and BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaints that have been reported by US Corporations to the Department of Labor relating to questionable actions of Dr. Challa and the Defiance-tech organization over the year dated 2010.  These complaints and the BOCs have reportedly been between multiple US based organizations and cover a wide range of industries and verticals related to IT Development and BPO Outsourcing services to India under Dr. Challas direct supervision.

One BOC matter at the forefront of this dispute is reported as being between the NATIO (Native American Trade Information Organization), located in Newport Beach, Calfornia and Defiance-tech, located in Troy, Michigan.  This current Breach of Contract issue by Defiance-tech is ultimately stemming from the reported mishandling of the NATIO, Inc. (Native American Trade Information Organization), Native American Impact agreement which was agreed to between Mr. John Moss, CEO and President of the NATIO and Dr. Prakash Challa, President of Defiance-tech.  U.S.  This agreement was introduced by Mr. John Moss, President of the NATIO and then instituted by Dr. Challa, President of Defiance-tech in August 2010. Still this Breach of Contract issue seems to be only one of several ongoing and growing legal issues that are being investigated by independent council. 

Weve been working with Christopher Cody, VP of Business Development for Defiance-tech for the last six (6) months and hes done a great job in supporting our clients in Indian Country, weve received numerous reports relating to Christopher Cody and what a great job hes done, and weve in turn provided every service stated and required within our contractual agreement with Dr. Challa, President of Defiance, but now it seems like Mr. Challa just makes up the rules as he goes along and feels free to not only break his word over-and-over on items agreed to in our contract but the word of Defiance-tech at every turn.  I realize that they are an India based organization but I simply feel that Dr. Challa feels that U.S. rules and laws simply dont apply to him!   At the request of Dr. Challa, we specifically agreed to certain SLA deliverables and service points in order to place the contract with Defiance, and now even with the agreement in place Defiance has repeatedly either paid its invoices slowly or not paid at all and now broken the agreement entirely. 

Dr. Challa has consistently not met or held up to a single point or clause of our agreement, and now with the Breach of this Agreement, he has ultimately had a tremendous negative impact on our organization, its simply been a nightmare dealing with Dr. Challa and this organization, I would suggest that others thinking of doing business with Dr. Challa and Defiance-tech beware as well, he cannot be trusted.

I simply dont understand how what we initially felt and what we were told could have been so far apart.  We were repeatedly told by Christopher Cody, VP of Business Development as-well-as Dr. Challa, U.S. President of Defiance-tech t that Defiance-tech was a superior visionary type of organization hoping to build a new image within the U.S. and specifically within Indian Country.   After the great relationship we have developed with Christopher Cody we find it hard to believe that someone with such an archaic way of thinking as Dr. Challa was placed in charge as President of US operations for Defiance-tech, I simply doesnt make since.

John Moss, CEO of the NATIO was briefly contacted but was unwilling to make a comment at this time, only saying we will get this mess straightened out know matter how long it takes.

But you have to think that its not just the issue of the contract that is in discussion here and will probably be decided by a court.   The bigger picture is the extreme damages that another India based outsourcing organization operating secretly here in the U.S. known as Defiance-tech and a somewhat questionable President, Dr. Prakash Challa has directly caused a U.S. Corporation due to a lack of professionalism and judgment by their attempt to acquire U.S. jobs, especially when the US Economy is at its worst, reputational damages could loom long into the future for this organization.
