 To whom it may concern:

Jericho Dental (Rick Munter, DDS) has been in business for thirty years. We have never had a patient complain about treatment presented. Occasionally, we will have a patient that is upset with a balance that he is owed. This particular patient who has written this rip off report is making fraudulent statements about the office, because he was put in collection for monies owed to our office.

We performed superior dental work on this patient and all he was concerned about was not wanting to pay for services rendered or other recommended services. Anyone who would like to call us to discuss this can reach us at (516) 935-0066.

Porcelain veneers are more expensive than indirect or direct composite resin veneers. Traditional porcelain veneers cost between $925 and $2,500 per tooth but can last 10 to 15 years. Composite veneers cost approximately $250 to $1500 per tooth and may last between five and seven years.

Veneers Cost Factors

The cost of dental veneers depends on many factors, including:

  • The fees of the cosmetic dentist performing the procedure.
  • The artistic and technical skill of the ceramist making the veneers and the cosmetic dentist who places the veneers.
  • The location where dental veneers treatment is performed. Costs for dental veneers and all cosmetic dentistry procedures vary widely by region of the country, specifically from large metropolitan areas to smaller towns.
  • The type of dental insurance you have. Dental insurance typically does not cover cosmetic procedures.
  • The material used. Porcelain veneers are more expensive than indirect or direct composite resin veneers.
  • The number of teeth requiring veneers.

So when you say this dentist ripped you off how many veneers did you want?? The human mouth has 32 teeth!! You most likely needed the gum procedure because if you needed veneers then your teeth were more than likely not in the best shape.  Grow up and pay your bill.
