Dr. William Hoolihan / Hoolihan Dental Unnecessary Root Channel Destroying Front Tooth Palm Desert California

Dr. Hoolihan preformed a root channel on my front tooth (#8) that was totally unnecessary.  There was an x-ray shadow behind that tooth which other dentist told me to see a root channel specialist (endodontist).  I found out a year after the root channel by different dentist that the shadow was still there and that dentist also referred me to an endodontist. The Endodonist used a cone scanner and found it had nothing to do with my tooth, but required oral surgery. The cap which Dr. Hoolihan put on my front tooth is inferior; off color and has a large bump in the back due to the preparation of the underlying tooth’s Cingulum.

Dr. Hoolihan should have also should have referred me to an endodontist, who (as I now have learned) have more advance equipment to diagnose the shadow.  Dr. Hoolihan is just concerned about making money not the patent.  He was not even my regular dentist, but in the office of my regular dentist and he called me into his office and scared me into believing I had an infection that would spread to other parts of the body. I asked for my fee back for the unnecessary procedure and to repair the inferior cap, but that was a waste of time.

I did file a lawsuit against him for malpractice but my attorney screwed up the paper work and Hoolihan got off.  The case is public records at Riverside County Court House, #PSC 1503182.
