WHAT A THIEF! L & A SERVICING dba DREAM VACATION PASSPORT IS OWNED BY A MAN NAME JOSEPH F. LATTUGA AKA "JOE DRAKE"  HE CLAIMS HIS NAME IS "JOE DRAKE" AND THAT IS A LIE. JOSEPH LATTUGA IS THE PRINCIPAL AGENT FOR THIS COMPANY.  HE HAS ALSO BEEN INVOLVED WITH OTHER COMPANIES THAT PREY ON THE ELDERLY SUCH AS TIMESHARE FOR CHARITIES, SUN TRAVEL, AND AMERICAN DISABLED VETERANS ASSOCIATION.  TO KEEP IT SIMPLE THA MAN IS NOTHING BUT A LIAR AND A THIEF. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING FROM SPEAKING WITH SEVERAL EMPLOYEES THAT RECENTLY LEFT HIM, THAT HE DID NOT EVEN PAY THEM THE WAGES THEY WORKED FOR.  HE IS PROMISING " FREE" AIRLINE TICKECTS TO NEW MEMBERS OF HIS TRAVEL CLUB, AND THE THING IS THE TICKETS DO NOT EVEN EXIST. HIS SALES PEOPLE CALL MEMBERS AND OFFER TO TRANSFER THEM INTO HIS CLUB, BUT THEN A MONTH LATER THEY CALL BACK FOR MORE MONEY OFFERING TO "UPGRADE" THEM. THE MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERS ARE ELDERLY THAT ARE JUST CONFUSED AND DO NOT REALLY KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON.  WHATEVER YOU DO...DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!!!

I am still being harassed by the Dream Vacation Passport co.

AUTHOR: anonymous - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, July 26, 2017

My story is so similar to the many reports about the deceptive business practices used by the people who run Dream Vacation Passport/My Travel Vacation Passport.

Dream Vacation Passport (DVP)/My Travel Vacation Passport has begun to harass me again after my refusal to pay fraudulent membership fees since July 2014.  They are trying to get third parties involved by misrepresenting the facts to them.  This scum travel club is trying scare tactics to either pay a termination fee or annual fees.  Otherwise they are supposed to be able to take legal action which has to be settled in court.  With so many public reports exposing their fraud I would like to know which court is going to vote in their favor.

In 2013 I was told that 3 weeks of condo rentals worth $3000 came with my membership and now I am supposed to have 6 weeks worth $6000.  I have not been given any documents showing what I actually own now and DVP/My Travel Vacation Passport has told me I could sell this account and get the proceeds.  I was told that my account would be held as inactive until I pay annual membership fees if decide to use the benefits.  I have told them I never have nor ever will use this travel club since they could not to be trusted.

I agree with other posts that Joseph is an unscrupulous liar and worse.  There are others like Adam McDonald and Daniel Fitzpatrick working with him, who have contacted me.

These people do not seem capable of telling the truth as many of the reports on the Ripoffreport web site has shown.  There seems to be a discrepancy between what was told to me about my account being held as inactive with no compulsion to pay any fees and the scare tactics that is used  to try and make me pay fees either for termination or holding the account.  When I have tried telling the people who called over the years that I did not want to have anything more to do with them I was told that I had overdue fees to be paid because of al contract I had with them. This "Lifetime" contract was presented to me deceptively as well.

I would like to know why these people are not imprisoned yet.  Why are they still free to con people, especially senior citizens? Can a class action suit be taken against them?

Do Your Research People

If "Joe Drake" is the CFO of Dream Vacation Passport, then explain why he has always been listed under www.sunbiz.org (Website that all Florida Corporations must register with) as Joseph Lattuga?  I have found no where on Sarasota Clerk of Courts online records that he has had a legal name change.  If you try to say Drake is his middle name, let's try that one again.  His middle name is Frances.

Yes, you are correct, I am an EX employee.  After working for this guy and the pitch we were made to use, I found myself going home at night and not being able to sleep.  He along with my co-workers would literally go down the lead list in the database and look for names of what would sound to be little old ladies.  Mr. Adam Macdonald, would literally scream at the top of his lungs and scare people into giving them his credit card number, Mr. Patrick Brogley would make you believe that if you didn't pay up he would loose his job, Mr. Michael Hall a/k/a Michael Ithier would sit with Joe Lattuga and go through the list and find old ladies that they knew had memory loss issues and call them back a month after signing and sell them again. The list goes on people.  Not to mention the criminal wrap sheets these employees have.  Think I am joking? www.sarasotaclerk.com provides online criminal record searches.

So for your response to the original post that was placed about this man is very concerning.  YOU must be on his payroll! The joke in the office other then above was how stupid these people were for paying for such a joke of a package that they would never be able to use.  There were very few like maybe five people while I was there, that they booked travel for...through expedia!! One poor lady got stuck over seas somewhere, called in for help, t happened to be a holiday weekend, we were closing, and Mr. Lattuga was like "oh well, sorry about her luck".

How any of you that works there think you are doing a good service for someone is insane.  Calling and selling them, and then turning around 30 days later and calling them back and when they say no, you threaten they will loose all of their investments!

As far as the response below this one from the "detective"...you must have graduated last in your class.  Lattuga was involved with a timeshare in New Jersey, yes. He sold the timeshares before completion of the buildings, and then hauled butt to Florida with everyone’s money.  It was not just his partners that were the bad guys up there.  He just skated by.  He knowing you were a detective would not surprise me in any way that supposed vacation you took, he paid for out of his own pocket, to prevent raising any red flags with you.

My Travel Company dba Dream Vacation Passport, is, always has, and always will be nothing but a scam. If you’re a member, you will always notice anytime another company comes into the picture, they start sending out email blasts attempting to warn their members.  You give it a good shot, but lets face it facts are facts, and everything in this report can be backed up

Buyer be ware! Check with the AG for the state of Florid and if you are already a member, call her office and file complaints after complaints’, they will be shut down in due time.  Get out while the getting is good.

I am very grateful for my Dream Vacation Passport!!

AUTHOR: Jay - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 30, 2014

First of all, my wife and I had the best experience on our 40th anniversary. We went to a Dreams Resort All-Inclusive for a week through Dream Vacation Passport. Five years ago I purchased a timeshare through another company and it has been noting but a money pit and almost impossible to use. All my wife had to do was log into our membership online and book, it was so easy I was skeptical. I called in and spoke to my rep and requested to speak to someone in charge, just to confirm everything was on the up and up. Mr. Drake-Lattuga spoke to me and reassured me that everything was taken care of and thanked us for being part of DVP. He even devulged his past history in the timeshare industry, for 30 years. He stated that he had made some poor choices in business partners at one time that reflected a negative light on him. I am a retired detective and have better than average insight on reading an individual, and he is sincere and truthful. I resent the reports I have read in regards to this man as a individual and businessman. Plus the reviews on the membership are completely false from my first hand experience.

We had such a great time that each one of my three grown children are going to be booking for their families my remaining weeks for this year. This just goes to show you can not believe everything that you read, especially on this internet thing!

Timeshare Donation Scams

AUTHOR: VickyF - ()

POSTED: Monday, March 24, 2014

Timeshare donation scams are very common and costly. Therefore, you have to be extremely cautions. If you detect any of the details we mentioned on the last paragraph, it is likely that you’re being a target for the timeshare donation scam company. Follow the next tips to protect yourself from getting scammed:

1. Never – ever pay upfront fees: That is a gold rule. There are people who have been scammed more than once with the same trick. By now we should know that paying an upfront fee is not an option.

2. Make a research on the company: Do not be so credulous. Always look for some reviews of the company and ask as many questions as possible. The Better Business Bureau it’s a great site to provide you information.

3. Consult with an expert: If you want to get rid of your timeshare, consult with an expert on timeshare matters what options you have and which one is the best for you.
