if they don't I feel the hosting cost are a rip off as I had stated!, its nice ya get your co-workers at dreamco to hit the agree button tho, things slow at work?

dreamco: Silver hosting plan $19.95/month, gold hosting plan $29.95/month, Platinum Hosting plan $49.95/month,

which the platinum plan is a shared hosting server which you can get at any direct hosting company with support and all the service tools you are talking about for $10-15 a month !!!

yes, do reserach and your homework as skippy says before you decide to pay for the inflated dreamco design prices !!!

i am not sure why you feel the need of posting. are they ripping people off? are they trapping people into their host plans? 

you are comparing apples to oranges. dreamco is selling a hosting package with services bundled in versus just hosting from another company. 

dreamco could change their business model to provide hosting for $5/mo but i bet they would charge if i wanted updates or to add new pages. as a fellow non techie i am sure you would understand that.

as a consumer you have to do your homework and research beforehand.

again, not sure why you are trying to deter potential customers from using their hosting. have they wronged you any other time? 

i run a food catering business and i mark up my rates, but if i provided cheap rates i would be out of business. 

and sometimes you pay more than you should!, I don't know why you are refutting when I'm only warning others of the "inflated prices" (your words not mine),

these inflated prices in my mind are the ripoff, cause you can get the same service for 4-5 times less, I'm only letting others know.

and of course the hosting isn't required!!!, I never said it was, its just that some people might not  be aware of what the hosting should actually cost!!!,

if you love dreamco's hosting that' your right, if you don't mind paying the 'inflated prices" then that's fine, but don't stand in the way of letting me inform others who may not know.

but if your a non techie like myself and you claim to be, you might not be aware that you can get the SAME EXACT hosting package for alot less...so the resson I'm posting!!!, is to warn others to do alittle research and maybe consider getting the hosting on their own...get it????

Hello, I have been with dreamco for just over a year. 

when i contracted them they told me hosting with them wasn't required and it was noted in their contract agreement. 

they said i am welcome to host where ever that i would like, but if i host with them they can provide updates as apart of their package and support the site incase it gets hacked. 

i am not sure why you are posting a bad report about this. i am on their gold plan for 30 a month and i utilize their monthly updates which i feel is very worth it. i really doubt that if i paid 2 dollars for godaddy that they would update my site as often as i need to.

you get what you pay for i believe.

and how long have you worked for dreamco?

yes they don't require you to sign up for hosting with them, but if you are not a techie, also such as myself you don't realize you can get the same exact services that you mentioned at way less cost., I"m just warning others to look into it beforehand.

To my knowledge DreamCo Design doesn't contract or require you host with them. When I purchased with them they said I could host on my if I wanted. They were not pushy or trying to just sell me extras. Sure their prices are inflated but so is our gas prices, they provide monthly updates and support that has came in handy for me. 

They also take care of everything, emails, website updates, domain transfer, etc. I gave them my godaddy info and they set up everything. I'm not a techie so that was very helpful. 

You get what you pay for, they provide more than just hosting.
