I'm Makesha Davis and I'm currently doing business with Drive Financial Services. I'm stationed here in Korea and I would pay my bill over the phone with a check. But, lately when I try calling, the number is disconnected and I can not get through. I then told my mom to take the money out of my account and do it from the phone back in the states. One of the representatives from the company would tell her that my payment is three payments behind, when she calls again it is alright and I'm back on schedule, yet the harrassing phone calls would continue. My problem is I would like a real address, so I can find out how much money I put on my car, how much is my balance, and how I can get out of it and get my money back.

Unfortunately I too am a Drive consumer. I have been dealing with them for some years now, and it only gets worse. You can read my Rip off report for a brief synopsis of what i'm going through. You have financed a car under the "rules of 78's". If you try to pay it off early your interest is front loaded. If you try to trade it in the full amount of your loan will be tacked on to you new vehicle. Over 60% of Drive's accounts end in reposession. That's what they want to happen. I wish I could offer you a glimmer of hope, but unfortunately these professional crooks have John Q. Public in an incredible bind. If I should discover anything I will be sure to post an update. Just a quick word of advice; check your credit report I guarantee Drive has posted your payments as delinquent.
