1.  Have a buddy test drive a car, preferably one of their more expensive models.

2.  Put sugar, sand, or my favorite, metal shavings, in the: gas tank, oil fill, trans fill, power steering fill, and of course the radiator.

3. Take back car, tell them your NOT INTERESTED!

4.  ENJOY your RIPOFFREVENGE!

Unfair conduct and even lying?  How about signing a contract and as such promising to make each and every payment on time and then NOT following thru?  The car being a piece of junk is one matter, the financing is another separate issue. 

Do you want to avoid the junk sold at subprime dealerships?  Then cultivate a mindset to pay your bills on time.  You had a reputation of NOT paying your bills on time going into this deal, now that you are into it, YOU CONTINUE with your subprime ways!  The rest is up to you.  You either develope a better financial reputation or you continue a subprime way of life forever. 

And before you say it, I don't work for them, any bank or financial operation!

3.  Take the car back and tell them your not interested in their junk!

Problem date 3/29/2011 the purchase date was 2/17/2011. The model number is 2008 PT Cruiser 4d Utility the VIN number is 3A8FY48B38T115456. Account number is 956. The odometer reading at purchase was 51,319. I payed 2600 down. The sales rep who sold it to me his name was Daniel Mcclean at the Drive Today Usa in Pell City, Al. Who is no longer working there according to the people at the Drive Today in Birmingham. The payment amount was 190.00 bi-weekly cash. I went to the car lot and test drove some cars in Pell City, Al. The three I drove were messed up the jeep had stop leaked sprayed all over the coolant system. The Nissan had bad ball bearings. These vehicles were checked out therally by my Uncle Williard Cain at Premium Auto Care in Pell City Al. After I drove them I made Daniel aware of these problems. The next car which I drove was the Pt Cruiser. Which he said was okay except it needed tires and motor mounts. So after I left I went to the car lot and told him that I would fix the motor mounts if he could knock 200 off the asking price. Well it was 2800 so he got it down to 2600.

Well after I had the car for a few days I drove the car back to the lot and told them it was vibrating and asked for my money back or for them to fix it. They wouldnt help me. When I got the car I was working as a Life Insurance Agent and they didnt pay me right. They ripped me off also. Well the day after I got the car it would not crank I didnt know what it was I took it to Advance Auto Parts in Trusville Alabama. The battery was bad so I bought a battery totaling 79.55. Then I went to Napa and bought motor mounts the top and bottom for 78.00. Then on Feb 19 I had to have the rear tires rotated and balanced which was 40.00 at City Tire. I also then had to have the front tires balanced 45.99 at Darby Tire. Then the check engine light came on a few weeks later and the steering wheel started vibrating and shaking. My uncle had to replace all 4 tires because they were all dry rotted. Which was 264.59 at Pell City Tire. The day of March 3, 2011 I called Drive Today Usa in Birmingham, Al. I had called them and asked if I could pay my payment the following Friday when I got my check. They told me no. Then I asked Crystal if I could wait till Mon they still said No. I explained to them about the items that I had to buy for the car not including tag and full coverage insurance she was rude to me and told me that they would have to hold my car that they couldnt wait for the next day. I then asked to speak to Jimmy and he told me that I could pay it on Sat. So on 3/5/2011 I made my payment to them for 190.00. Then my next payment was due on 3/17/2011. I called and tried to make arrangements and tell them that I had gotten a new job and they were rude to me. Then on Saturday the 26th Crystal had called and told me that they was going to work with me to call them. The following day I had to be at work at 10:45 am. I get up at 8 am and get ready for work and get off at 9 so their was no way for me to call her. So the following day on March 29, 2011. I tried to call them and some lady hung up on me. Then as I was pulling out of my road the repossesion people came up and told me that my payment was 9 days late that they had to take the car. Well I told them that was fine just please follow me to my house so I will not have to walk with my 9 month old baby. Well once I got out I talked to them and explained to them that my Uncle had put tires on the car and I had put the battery in it and I wanted my stuff back. And they hadnt even put the car on the wrecker at this point. I told them that I had just tried to call and talk to them at Drive Today Usa and they hung up on me. Well the two guys told me that they would work with me once I get to birmingham. I tried to give them my payment before they took the car they refused once at dealer Crystal and Jimmy was rude and would not help me like promised. Refused to tell me who was in charge and refused my payment.  I have lost my job now because you all took my car and would not help me. I do believe I am entitled to something. The two guys before they took the car out of my yard ensured me that I WOULD be able to get my belongings off of the car and they could not take my payment. Once I got to dealership after driving 36.7 miles. They would not help me at all. And made it sound as a privilege for me to get my belongings out of the car. And Jimmy who is on camera would not write me anything out that he refused my payment or that I couldnt have my stuff. I am asking for help because I have been treated very unfairly.

The more unneeded fluff someone puts in the more of a chance they are trying to hide things that probably don't make them look so good.

Getting rid of all of the fluff it seems to come down to this you couldn't make a single payment on-time.  Your first payment was late by about 2 days.  Your second payment was late by 9 days(and counting).  Your title states that they refused payment, and you mentioned it a couple of times in your report.  However, no where in the report do you show that they refused it.  That is there was never a case where you said you had the money right then and wanted to make a payment.  The only thing they seemed to refuse is allowing you extra time to make your payments before they reposessed your car(which is NOT a RipOff).
