This complaint report is to the business and owner of Driveline auto parts in philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

On 8/22/2013 I ordered a 1997 ford Explorer rear wheel drive transmission vin #1FMDU32EXVZB11427 Engine size 4.0L SOHC from Driveline auto parts which was shiped to me in my home state of Atlanta, GA. Driveline sent me the wrong model transmission in error which was a 4x4 transmission serial # P97GT-7066-BBR transmission. I have tried for months, calling and emailing with photos of the differences in the two transmissions and ask the owner to please ship me the correct model transmission so I can send back the wrong one which is the 4x4 which can not work with my vechile. The owner first said he will replace the product and send the correct one which as of this point he has not done so. He keeps asking for serial number which I have provided him with still with no success. I have all my receipts and shipping documents from Driveline and the bill of lading shipping documents from Vitran Express Inc. I am a part-time mail clerk worker with limited income and cant afford to purchase another transmission. I would honesty like your help in this matter so that the owner Mike at Drive line auto parts can be honest and send me the correct product which I have already paid for in full. 1997 ford Explorer rear wheel drive transmission vin #1FMDU32EXVZB11427 Engine size 4.0L SOHC.

Thanking you for your help in this matter.

Please upload the receipt

I am sorry you still think you purchased the item from us. Please upload the original reciept from us. I told you before on the phone before you got angry and unreasonable that we ship out for some local businesses because we have a large warehouse with multiple shipping docks that tractors can easily access. I'm not sure what you are looking to prove here on this site. You have also made threats about getting our UPS delayed. I will be contacting my UPS representitive to notify them of that. Please just upload a invoice/reciept so you can see for yourself taht you did not purchase this from us. Thanks and best of luck.

Drive Line Auto has a great & well respected reputation

I've been dealing with Drive Line Auto for years. They always ask for the Vehicle Identification Number and even the part numbers off the part as well as to verify the part. Their customer service, reliability and assurance are what I look for when I purchase auto parts. There are places all over that are junk yards with cars piled on top of each other and then there are places like Mike's that take the time on their computer to ensure that I receive the correct part. I would call his business an auto parts recycling center because of his inventory is meticulous.

Mistakes do happen but I can tell you for a fact that there is another company with the same name. If there is ever an issue, and in the parts business there are plenty, Mike and his staff takes the time to ensure you get the correct part. Sometimes people change motors from different cars and order the parts that originally were on the vehicle. For that reason their employees ask for the part number to check to make sure the part is correct.

I would recommend Drive Line for anyone that needs a used part. To ensure that you receive the correct part have your vehicle identification number and the part number with you so you can have the piece of mind knowing that when ordering from Mike at Drive Line Auto Parts, you aren't buying from a junk/scrap yard...you are buying from a  reputable company.

Rick

Seeking your help.

Hello ripoff.com,

My name is Sherwin from   Atlanta, GA. I have posted a report on your website about a dishonest   business by the name of Drive Line Auto Part in Philadelphia, PA. This   dishonest owner by the name of Mike posted a rebuttal saying he never sold me   any parts which was a 1997 Ford 4X4 TRANSMISSION. I would like your help in   posting the receipts and shipping bill of lading. I did post pictures of the   items in question and would like your help in this matter. This will show   proof that he is not telling the truth. I am emailing you copies of both the   receipt and the bill of lading.

P.S. This owner of Drive   Line Auto Part in Philadelphia, PA called me on 03/06/2014 at 12:41pm EST and was very belligerent in his manner and told me if I take my post down that he would then refund me part of the money which I am very suspicious of. He then told me that I did'nt have a receipt and that it's been over a year already. When I tryed to gave him the infomation he requested he said he will not gave me a refuned and hang- up the phone on me for the third time. To the paying public this guy the owner MIKE from Drive Line Auto Parts is a real dishonest man and a liar. Please do not get cheated out of your hard earn money like I did. Dont purchase from Drive Line Auto Parts in philadelphia.

Never sold this customer any parts

AUTHOR: UsedAutoParts - ()

POSTED: Thursday, March 06, 2014

Unfortunately this customer has us confused for another auto parts vendor who is close by. We spoke with this customer when he contacted us and tried to help him even though he did not purchase the transmission from us and he demanded more. We understand if this happened how someone could be upset but we can not help our competition and fix their mistakes unfortunately. We hope everything works out for you in the long run but you really need to find your original reciept and verify exactly who you purchased the item from specially before making false accusations towards a business who goes above and beyond for our customers.

Again I'm sorry you had this happen to you but my sales team must focus on our customers just as a retailer like Best Buy can't handle Walmart customers. I hope you understand this and we wish you the best of luck with your outcome. Unfortunately for us from this post we have recieved calls wanting money to either delete it or help have it removed from prices ranging from $350.00 to $2000.00. I will not pay this so I hope this post is seen by actual customers of ours and maybe future customers. Thank you
