Im leasing a vehicle for for $318 a month with the option to buy. I have 18,000 mile limit a year which I wont get close to using. Ive had it since August 2013. I didnt even hit 1000 miles when the rear struts, parts from ac & transmission started to mess up. I contacted the warranty department but it is all a maint- nance issue... which means its an out of pocket expense. I contacted management explaining that it doesnt take a month and a half to run down rear struts. Again I was told it would an out of pocket expense. The struts alone$150, labor $80, transmission $$$ ac $$$ Today (12/27/13) the car hasnt reached 4000 miles. lm thinking of returning it as is but fear they will charge me for "The Maintenance Issue". I was even thinking of leasing another vehicle so I wont lose my down payment. Maybe the peace of mind option of going to a real dealer would be better. What should I do?
