Dronecast contacted me with a promise of Drone Jobs if I purcahsed their drone. It has been 9 months since I purchased my $6,000 drone and I have yet to have one job. Not only that but the drone I purchased was a piece of s**t. It came missing parts and slighly broken. I tried to get a refund but apparently it is non-refundable. F*** this company.

I was told a slightly different story

AUTHOR: InYourBestInterestMyOpinion - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, January 25, 2016

I was approved for a lease through Dronecast and I was sent my equioment. When it arrived it came broken. The controller battery cover was broken off and there was something inside the controller that sounded broken. I was also not shipped my banner that was to be used for demos of the product.

I sent this report to my leasing agent whom had contacted Dronecast on my behalf. I was contacted by the CEO who told me he would have another box sent to me immediately wth the replacement part and banner. After a week with no delivery notifications, I started researching Dronecast and found the above report. I then sent an email to Dronecast where the CEO himself responded with this quoted message,

- quote -

"I apologize for your experience and am deeply sorry that you feel this way about the program. The program is not made to deceive anyone. The report you have shared, has already been brought to my attention and we are in the process of appealing it.

I do have information on what happened in that case, and would like to share it to help ease your mind a bit.
The partner was our second partner in the entire network to join. When he joined, we had him noted down for all jobs that occurred in the Florida region. The first 4 months he refused all jobs we sent him. After that he accepted 2 jobs and never showed up - clearly this is not something we want happening. So we put him on probation. Giving him one more shot at doing his job properly or risking his membership. The third time, he backed out 2 hours before the event. Overall he wasn't a reliable parter. He even went ahead and sold his drone on eBay - we found out because the purchaser called asking for jobs. And as you know, this is non-transferable because it's more than just a drone

I wanted to personally reach out to you and tell you that this is not a scam, we do give our pilots jobs and they are all very happy. I'd be more than happy to put you in touch with another pilot to help ease everything for you, if you would like.

Regards,
Raj Singh
CEO DroneCast"

I was then notified that I would be receiving a package in a couple of days. I was also given a contact number to another pilot in the Los Angeles area. I texted her so I would have  it in writing. She told me that she received one job in 6 month. She was offered another but it was 400  miles away in Las Vegas.

In the couple days, I stayed home because FedEx tracking said my package would arrive last Thursday, January 21, 2016. After waiting all day, the package did not arrive. I went back to tracking and the website showed that they received the order to ship the package but it was never shipped.

At that point I called the leasing company, told them I am  not accepting the equipment and I am sending back the drone. Because it was never complete, I did not have to accept the equipment and enter into the lease. I am waiting for a refund on my first payment though.

I was also told in another email from Dronecast Sales manager that there is a guarantee of income. If anyone is having issues and doesn't know about this guarantee, I have a copy of the email and an email is a contract.

We will be targeting your area as soon as you join, so workflow should not be an issue at all. Furthermore, we do offer 12 month guarantees. If we do not at least offer you $2,000 worth of work within your first 12 months in the program, we will send you a check for the difference to make sure you broke even. This guarantee should prove to you that we are confident we can get you enough work to make your monthly payments.

In order to proceed, we'd just need you to agree to the terms so we can send you the equipment. Once you receive the equipment, we will put you into contact with our pilot instructor for training.

I'll look forward to your response. Have a great day!

It is my opinion that this company is not trying to set up partners, but trying to get rid of a possible drone inventory or just defraud us by making us think there is an income opportunity. You can see by their rebuttal they ar eofering references. They only gave me one. If this company is really trying to do this correctly, I think they should be more transparent with their claims. By not offereing a refund on the equiment, I feel that they don't stand behind their product.

Terrible partner

AUTHOR: DC - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 19, 2016

This partner had originally signed up as being a New Jersey resident. We kept sending him jobs from New Jersey. Then one fine day he decided to fill us in on the fact that he no longer lives in jersey but has moved to Florida. That being said, there are plenty of other partners in our network that are making money doing this. We would be happy to provide references of those partners to anyone that needs the information.
