I paid $149 bucks for this site along w/ an additional $39 bucks for a personal web name (www.carmensales.com). I looked for sample "WHOLESALE" prices and was satisfied w/ other wholesale claims on the web to be similar. Approx. 5 days later my site was built and complete with new webname. To my surprise the "WHOLESALE" price rendered to me is almost double that of local retail!
Example: Nintendo Wii Sport Bundle = Wholesale price: $331.64
List price recommended to customer = $599.99
I immediately asked for a refund of my purchase price ... this is the email I got back:
The prices of the games consoles are exceptions. We charge our members the same price that we get from the suppliers that ship to the end buyers. Please do not use the prices of the xbox, WII or PS3 as a basis for our prices because these are exceptional items. The prices are higher simply because the demand is extremely high and the inventory is very limited on the market. We understand your concerns and yet we still see orders for these items come in every day. Please take the time to look at other products such as the CS50 from Plantronic listed for only $159.08 under the product tab Headset & Phones. Another example is item number Q5621A#ABA which is selling for about $124 on ebay and our price to you is only $70. (I didn't ask for this, I wanted to re sell the WII or PS3 ... what do I want w/ a phone?!)
We can reassure you that our products sell very well since we fulfill orders for well over $500K each month on behalf of our members. Please take the time to review our products carefully as there are many that can offer you excellent profits.
You can take a look at the list of our 100 top items on the News box which is visible when you login and the Best Seller product tab as a start. The list changes every day. I too have been ripped-off by DDS.com. DDS is *extremely* misleading. The products are overpriced with outrageous shipping. If you have a problem, they don't want to hear it. They are in control. Companies like these should be illegal! The only one making money is DDS.
Please file a complaint with BBB.org.
Tharin, be thankful your email doesn't work.... it only delivers a bunch of spam that you don't want anyway.

I say = Cost vs. demand is one thing ... but to completely rip off the client and customer is "price gouging"!
They also claimed recently in an email to me that I am a dissatisfied exception. They "claim" that 99.999% of their clientele are VERY satisfied. Whatever, have you seen all the dissatisfied clients on this website? Serach dropshipdesign.com, dropshipdesign, dropshipdesign LLC, etc. They all come up with many complaints by each name. Not too mention all the AKA's they are known as ...
