NovaPointe, ripoff - took advantage of free trial of Hoodia GordonII - my bank account was billed $108.07 - when I called the company, they told me to return the unopened bottles, but I would NOT receive a refund. Ontario California

I contacted NovaPointe, LLC this morning and demanded that my account be cancelled immediately. I had ordered a free sample of Hoodia GordonII and yesterday, April 17, 2006, I received two additional bottles and my account was charged $108.07. When I contacted customer service and spoke to Rodelin, she told me that she would cancel my account - cancellation code #7166151 - and that I was to return the two bottles with no refund allowed. I asked why I should return the unopened bottles as I was charged for them - she had no answer.

This is a ripoff - I should have been contacted and asked if I wanted to continue using the product before they charged my bank account. Asking me to return the unopened product that I received yesterday, without credit to my account, was the last straw.

They kept me on hold for over 20 minutes, when I got down to the 2nd caller, I was disconnected - had to call back and wait another 20 minutes. Then once I got through to Rodelin, she put me on hold to check my account and told me it would be cancelled immediately. Should there be any class actions against this company, I would sincerely like to be included in the complaint.
