Drum Center of Portsmouth Ripping Drummers off since 2009 800 Islington St, Portsmouth, NH 03801 New Hampshire

Drum Center of Portsmouth is a place where its all about the money. I purchased $1500 dollars cymbals from them and as soon as I got them I tryed them out and since they sounded nothing like the video the DCP has posted I initiated a return on the very next day. The cymbals were in exactly the same shape and form as I got them. As soon as initiated the return i noticed 15% restocking fee that was nowhere to be found when I was ordering the stuff initally. Now I thought well no big deal I will call thise guys and I was shure they will help me out considering the situation. Oh boy was I wrong. I called 4days on the row trying to speak with the person in charge only to be stonewalled and at the end basicly refused to speak to Tom. I was told that the fee is because the box has been open. Now the thing is I ordered 2 items and when they send it they put both item in the same box thus breaking the seal (if there was a seal to start with). No one wanted to listen to me and on the 5th day when I got"lucky" by having Shane pick up the phone he had the nerve to tell me that he has no idea about any of the stuff and that he is not in charge of any of it. This is after I asked him if he was the owner of the store and he confirmed it that yes he was the owner. At the end they charge me even more than the 15%. When asked Shane said he doesn't deal with this .So be awere and do not shop there. At the end wasn't even about the money but the way I was treated I felt scamed and ripped off. After a little research I am beginig to find that I am not the only victim of Drum Center of Portsmouth and I hope they get what's coming to them. They do not serve the drummer community but they serve only their greed.
