We have had someone calling from the phone # 855-673-5298 and when we would answer the phone it would take some time for a recording to come on the line. When we would hear it was a recording we would just hang up thinking that it was a telemarketer.

Well last week the number called again and this time I stayed on the line in hopes of talking to a real person so I could tell them to take us off of their calling list. When I did get to a real person, the gentalman claimed to be an attorney telling me that a civil suit was being filed against my 82 year old mother for credit fraud!

He said that the account was from 2008. When I asked him how much she owed, he said over $1000. I told him that he must have the wrong person, then he said that a lot of that amount was interest. When I pushed to get the original amount that she was suppose to have owed, he did not want to tell me.

After telling him that I was going to hang up then if he couldnt even tell me how much the original amount was that she owed, he finally said it was around $250.00. Then continuing to say that he was an attorney at law and was assigned to arbitrate before this went to court he told me that they would arrest my 82 year old mother unless we paid this bill immediatly.

Being scared that someone may come out and actually arrest my 82 year old mother, I agreed to try to pay a lesser amount of $735 paid in three payments. But they wanted the first payment right then, and this was two or three days before Christmas, so I told him I would tray to have the first payment of $245 in my account by the 30th and he got my bank card info.

Today is Saturday Dec. 28th and the 30th in on Monday. Well the same guy called me back today to remind me to make sure that I have the money in my account for the first payment on Monday. This was his mistake because I dont believe an arbitrator would be calling me on a Saturday to tell me to make sure I have the money in my account for the first payment.

After receiving that phone call I want online and typed in the phone # 855-673-5298 and did a Google Search, well I found all kinds of scam alerts etc. on sites like callerr.com, 800notes.com and whocalled.us as well as one report on ripoffreport.com and about 50% of the complaints that I read said that they had pulled the same thing with them. (lied and pretended to be an attorney at law.) And that the calls from that number were a scam and not to give your banking ino.

So I am canceling the bank card that I gave him the number for and he calls back, Im going to tell him not to call our number again.
