So dvdsetpro.com. What a fantastic place to go. Riiiiight. Don't be dazzled by their cheap prices like i was. Online customer chat?? Sure, if you are a first-time customer and they don't have your ip. Here's what happened.

I was looking for a box set of Farscape seasons 1-4. I found dvdsetpro.com. I chatted with the online customer service rep and straight out asked her if the product was new in a box and in stock. I was assured it was. Also, there is a guarantee on the website that says all products will be new and factory sealed. So I paid my 40 some bucks and 30 dollars for shipping. I was thrilled when I recieved the product about a week later. I was so happy that i didn't get scammed. Here is what I found when I opened the shipping package:

No factory sealed box. In fact the individual dvds weren't sealed, and they were shoved 5 to a dvd case in cheap plastic covers just floating around inside the case. The covers on the cases were obviously made by a inkjet printer on cheap copy paper one of which was even torn. The clasps on the cases were broken. When I put the dvds in, the menus were lowgrade (I make better menus on my home movies). Two of these dvds wouldn't even play. And two of them were switch around from what they said on the label, i.e. disc 2 was actually disc 3 and vice versa. I attempted to contact customer service via email, online customer service chat, and phone. Customer service chat would not talk to me at all. And I never did recieve a return email. If you call the phone number you always get a voicemail which just says "The person you are trying to reach is unavailable. Please leave a message. " Nice company.

I finally did manage to get a hold of customer service chat by going on a different computer. I was online with her for over an hour and maybe got 10 comments from her. Like she was busy with something else. Which helped to elevate the situation. Here is the conversation. Notice the timestamps, as well as when it says "Please wait, the rep is typing a response" Promptly followed by "Are you away from your keyboard? We haven't recieved a response" Even though i had said something 60 seconds before. Also notice how the rep does not care that they are pirated dvds:

Now I did FINALLY recieve an email shortly after this, saying that they could refund my money MINUS the shipping costs, plus i would have to pay for shipping back. Which means I would get about 10 dollars out of the original 70 I paid. nice.

Do not buy from this company, unless you truly want pirated dvds.
