E Data Source Failed to deliver contracted service and failed to deliver promised refund. ripoff Pompano Beach Florida

I paid E Data $1175.00 on 3-9-2006 for a weekly email broadcast to 50,000 area homeowners to take place over a ten week period and approved the ads for transmission on 3-20-2006. After several weeks of excuses and receiving no evidence of transmissions, on 5-11-2006 I requested a full refund from Mike Schofill. Mike asked me to provide him with a copy of my invoice which I provided, and agreed to issue a refund as soon as he was able to recover the funds from Ken Craig, the salesperson in the transaction. After two weeks of no action on the part of Mike Schofill, on 5-25-2006 I filed complaint #2233288 with the BBB of Southeast Florida.

Mr. Schofill claimed in his rebuttal that he was surprised by the claim because he had been told by the marketing consultant with my company that he was pleased with the 283 leads that were generated as a result of the broadcast. I received no leads, and no evidence that any broadcasts took place. He later told the BBB in a response that he had sent me a settlement check for $1,000, and that I had cashed the check on 6-20-2006. I did not receive or cash a check for any amount from Mr. Schofill.

After a few more contacts with the Resolution Specialist for the BBB, I was told there was nothing more they could do.

I still have copies of my contract and all emails to and from E Data and the BBB.

I would highly recommend avoiding E Data Source, Inc. for your marketing needs.
