I was just out of college, wanting to buy my dream jeep, the Rubicon. I was currently living with my girlfriends parents, but I was moving away in 1 week to start my first job. To make a long story short, they wrote on my credit application that I didnt have to pay rent, so I would qualify for this vehicle. (lie #1) When the financing went through, it was at 13% even though I have a spotless credit report. As we were negotiating, I managed to talk them down a little, but in the end all of it showed back up on the contract. (lie #2)
I really wanted this vehicle, so I gave in to the pressure and signed the contract (I know, it was dumb).

A week later I called them up and told them that I could not afford the vehicle and they said to bring it back for nothing (since I put less than 1k miles on it). After driving 3 hours back to the dealership, they told me that I had to purchase something. (lie #3)
They showed me a really cheap car, but they said it was too inexpensive for me to purchase. Then they continued to show me used cars that were way overpriced, and were mechanicaly noisy.
I was finally shown a high milage Dodge Neon, so I cut my loses and purchased that. I paid 5000 over bluebook because they kept telling me that if I dont purchase something else I would be stuck with the Rubicon that would be eventally repoed. (lie #4)
So the moral of the story is: 1)dont sign anything, no matter how much they pressure you 2)Dont go to Earnhardts, they are #1 in the world because of thier lieing and manipulation.
