EARTHLINK dishonest, several phone numbers, never resolve, illiterate foreign speaking-non american company. STOLE MY MONEY, reported me to collections agency Carol Stream Illinois

I have 3 accounts with earthlink for 4 years. 2 dial up personal and 1 website in the making but all paid up. Have access to resolve any issues fast. Why not chat, why not a VIP number for better service . They all stink. Nobody comprehends english any where. I ask to speak to a person in the US they say I am sorry we can not do this. I have paid my bills from check to carol stream and also by CC over the phone. I got a letter showing one account was still owed, although it is paid. So I call. They give me 5 different people noone understands english. I am on the phone 1 hour. Left still unresolved.

I then look on my website it has been disconnected. I call same run around same hourly phone calls, you do a chat and spend 1 hour there to have you give them the same # you just called. I paid 160. in oct by check early nov. they cancel. I sent payment with where to direct payment on check, I also sent stub. 2 days ago I check my account on the earthlink.net. It shows I owe ZERO. It shows the other accounts as ZERO.

The next day I get a call from a collections agency with earthlink. I was so mad I told them to never call my house again, I am extremely mad. I had dealt with this right away, I was given a case # for what I do not know. The first case # was resolved to we will fix this in thialand or india. They cashed the payment of 160. to the website and said what happened they showed it as credit, it was not applied to my website. So I thought it was resolved. They would fix it.

Now yesterday I look on my accounts page it states the collections they said was for one of my other accounts. Which was paid. But they transfered right then and there $202.00 to my account saying I owe that which I am paid up to middle of January. So they made this mess just to steal my $160. which was to be applied to my website account. I will not pay for them when they turned it off and then kept the money it shows as cashed. I will cancel all my accounts. But I want my $160. back. I never had the website as they shut it down.

Know any lawyers?? As there is no way you can get a hold of these idiots. They send you on a wild goose chase so they can say you owe more money and you can not figure out what they did so they can steal your money. At the end of oct. they did say that is what happened but giving them a case # they do not know what you are talking about and you have to go through it all ove again.
