East of Chicago Pizza company ruined our families fathers day.
On fathers day, three generations of my family were to meet at East of Chicago pizza company on Heatherdowns Blvd. in Toledo, Ohio, for the buffet. This was supposed to be a joyous day for the family. Two vehicles arrived just before 2:00 PM, with two more on the way, one from out of town. When I arrived with the first group, I sat down and waited for a server to take our orders. We were rudely informed that they would not serve us the buffet, because they wanted to take it down, even though there were already more than a half dozen pizza's already out on the buffet, with people eating from them. I asked the employee why we were being treated this way, and reminded him that it was fathers day, he just stated that the buffet must end. This has not only caused a major inconvenience for our family, because of people in different vehicles, and some of them had driven a long way to attend, but it also caused our family a lot of grief and heartache, and, worst of all, has ruined fathers day for everyone.
I have tried to contact the corporate office, and they did not have the courtesy to even reply. Our family has done business with the company before, without problems, so I never anticipated these issues.

I filed a report with the BBB, but found out that since they are an accredited business and pay a fee to the BBB, the BBB closed my case without even contacting myself or the business regarding this matter.

After several attempts to contact corporate office, the manager finally called me and seemed upset and just told me that I was welcome to half off Tuesdays. This did nothing to make up for how they treated my family.

The answer is simple...next time show up earlier.

What time did the buffet end?...I bet it was scheduled to end at 2PM.

I guess if you arrived at 1:58 they should have charged you full price and for 2 minutes let you have access to the buffet before they took it down.   Yea..that's a great idea.

Oh..let me guess you are one of those people who show up to a store at 8:59PM when they close at 9PM and expects a store to stay open for you until you have done your shopping.  Where the only other people in the store are the employees who are waiting for you to be done so they can go home.
