Ok, here we go. I was in need of a new car and decided to return to Easterns as I had purchased our other car from them. That deal was flawless and I am still happy with it. I searched online and found wahat i was looking for, a 2016 Ford mustang with 15,000 miles. My wife and I made the trip in rush hour traffic and got there at 6, they close at 7. We met up with Amadou and Jesus, the same team we worked with before so there was a certain level of comfort because of how late it was we were kinda rushed. We filled out the paperwork and while they were doing the numbers game we took it for a drive.

The test drive went ok but was kinda limited by time and rush hour traffic. I could only get up to about 40 mph in the washington dc area parking lot commute rush hour we all love. The car felt good and besides its only a year old with 15k miles what could be wrong? Back at the dealership i inspected the car to the best of my ability. I found that the left side of the car had been painted , a little paint on the trim irregularities etc but it appeared to be quality work so I wasnt concerned and it still doesnt bother me. What does is the fact that when I pointed it out to them the only responses I got were its got a clean carfax you must be wrong.

Also after another carfax was run it turns out to be a repossessed car. But still clean carfax in the eyes of the used car salesman. After a bodyshop looked at the car it had indeed been hit with body and paintwork to the left side. Again quality repair i am not concerned. Here the trouble begins. We did the deal. They wanted me to buy an extended warranty which i declined because it still has 5 years and 45k on the Ford warranty. What would you have done? Deal done salesman and manager being your best freinds you know the drill, lol. On the way home when i got it up to 60 65 mph a moderate vibration and rumble noise appeared enough that my 7 year old daughter noticed it.

I considered going back but decided to deal with it the next day. Anyway i played with the speed and it comes on at approx 50 mph and grows from there. At 75mph and up it vibrates so bad the mirrors are blurry, at 80 you feel it in the seat and after about 10 minutes of the rumble noise you are just about insane. I drive 70 miles a day on a road with a speed limit of 70. Oh my god, it drives me nuts, and in the back seat its 25 percent worse. This is getting long so let me get to the points. I contacted easterns who said bring it in or take it to Ford under warranty. I chose Ford. Here is where the ...t hits the fan.

I was advised the factory warranty is void because the original owner, who had it repossessed had modified the car. Surprise to us. No warranty on a 1 year old car with 15k on the odometer. I contact Amadou and Jesus who tell me to bring it to them which I do. They take the car to corporate put 120 miles on it and call me and say it needs 2 tires it will be ready at the end of the day. Ok great. Keep in mind the bank still has not closed the deal. They call me again and tell me the tires are special order they need a bit more time. Ok, no big deal. A few days go by and they call me and let me know its done, btw the bank contacted me earlier in the day and checked everything before funding the deal. I figured as a repeat customer i was in good hands.

Lesson learned. I picked the car up and surprise. The problem is still there. And the deal was just funded..........very very suspect. Here we are 2 weeks later a 32000 dollar car sitting because its broke. Easterns says they have done all they are going to do, no ford warranty to fall on. We call daily and get no response from the "customer care team" Kim Atkins who we were told would get this this straightened out. Amadou and Jesus have made the commission off the deal and wont even take our calls. I took the car to 2 maryland inspection stations where it failed inspection for the same 2 things with 2 different inspectors but it passed at eastern motors.

It had a clean car fax at eastern motors despite a repossession and the left side of the car being worked and painted. And worst of all being a repeat customer being blown off for asking for some sort of warranty and fix whats broke. I still love the car, just fix it and stand behind it. Its a shame i have to hire a attorney and waste my time and money getting the car inspected by a shop not affiliated with easterns. Beware of easterns, decent people being told what to do by upper management who could care less about long term customers. I hope they stand up and fix the car, and give me some sort of warranty.
