Eat.Sleep.Knit Store Manager Lindsay As others have noted, this on-line business is anything but customer friendly. I purchased yarn on-line for $128.70 from this business and stated in capital letters in the "comments" area of my order that I needed the yarn wound.Smyrna Georgia

 I received the yarn but not wound. When I called to discuss this problem the manager immediately projected the problem on to me insisting I had not requested winding in my order. No apology. Just "it's your fault." When the yarn came I spent over $19 to send it back priority with signature required. I followed all the required steps listed for the return policy, and they did receive it and sign for it. Today I received an e-mail from the store manager Lindsay stating the following: "Thanks for your patience in this matter. We've looked over your issue and have decided that we will be happy to wind your yarn and return it to you. We can wind up to 3 skeins for free. After the 3rd skein we charge $1 per each additional skein. This is our normal winding policy. Once we have wound your yarn, we can return the package to you for the price of postage, which will be $9.75. Let us know f it is okay that we charge your credit card $12.75 and we will get started right away. We may be able to wind all 6 skeins today and ship by tomorrow." BUYER BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS. 

The internet sales side of this business is probably the least customer friendly yarn store I have ever done business with.  I placed an order on-line for a total cost of $128.70 for 6 skeins of yarn.  I typed clearly in the comments section of the on-line order form that I needed the skeins wound.

When the yarn arrived it wasn't wound.  When I contacted the store and spoke with store manager "Lindsay" she insisted repeatedly that I had not asked for the yarn to be wound, and it was essentially my fault.

I returned the yarn by priority mail signature required for more t han $19 at my expense requesting that the yarn be wound.

In return Linsday wrote to me stating that they could wind the yarn for me but I would have to pay $1 per skein for every skein over three, and an additional shipping cost of $9.75.

If I want a refund, they will deduct $9.75 for the shipping cost, Lindsay states; and the refund will take 4 weeks to process!

Lindsay has made it clear to me that I will be better off buying yarn almost anywhere else rather than at East.Sleep.Knit.

I LOVE Eat Sleep Knit!

 I have purchased yarn on line from Eat Sleep Knit numerous times and I have never experienced a problem. I was shocked to see a complaint about them. They plainly state on their website that they will wind up to 3 skeins free and then you will be charged. I love that they offer to wind your yarn - not all stores do. I love that they will wind 3 skeins free. I have never had a problem with their customer service- they are always very courteous and thank me for my order. My order is processed quickly and I usually receive my yarn within a few days. They have the best selection of yarn that I have found anywhere. Did I mention that I LOVE Eat Sleep Knit? My only complaint about Eat Sleep Knit is that they are too far away for me to shop in person - but I am very happy to be able to shop on line.
