I ran a very successful store for many years selling over $1k a week on Ebay. Lately Ebay has been increasing their money holds through Paypal nearly putting me out of business several times because I am being forced to ship out items before I even get paid for them. I had to fight through multiple Identity verification limitations on a regular basis even though my seller account was over nine years old. Paypal is forcing it's sellers to wait 21 days before they get their money and at the same time expect the seller to ship out the goods which in business this doesn't fly.

When you go to the store, you hand over the money and then you get the goods. Ebay has it backwards, sellers are being ripped off left and right by fake chargeback notifications Paypal sends out to it's sellers telling them they have deducted money from their account. Without any proof of the actual chargeback being presented to the seller they just take the money. Paypal does not respond to any chargeback disputes and therefore all sellers lose both their money and their item they shipped over 99 percent of the time. Paypal does not have seller protection yet they will brag about this all over youtube.

I have been ripped off too many times by buyers filing fraudulent chargebacks and in my business I can't afford that. I researched and looked for answers all over the internet regarding the chargeback fraud scams on Ebay and only one guy could give me the answers. I watched this guy's video about fake Paypal fraudulent buyer chargebacks and it really started to make sense to me why Paypal doesn't fight chargebacks on behalf of sellers. It's because they don't make money on it and they don't have the manpower or administration to respond to the millions they get per week, not only that, they don't make money on responding to chargebacks. His video shows the proper protocol of a chargeback filed by a buyer and what the documentation looks like to the merchant.

For years I never thought about requesting these documents from Paypal and in the most recent months I received yet again three more chargebacks filed by fraudulent buyers on the Ebay platform so I tried my best to appeal their decisions and they shut me down two weeks later! yes they shut me down after selling on their system for over nine years with a perfect selling record.

I called and called Ebay and Paypal after numerous hangups to find out why they terminated my account after nine years and they told me they no longer want to do business with me. I asked them why and they would not provide the reason. If they can't provide the reason there is no reason and this is why the State of California Attorney General's office should put in place some regulations for this company to operate and stop it's own consumer fraud against honest customers (sellers) of their system. Yes the sellers are it's customers because buyers don't contribute one red cent to Ebay and sellers get no protection at all.

I highly suggest that everyone visit Ebay Blows and watch this guy's videos. He really knows what he's talking about and can offer great advice for you sellers out there.

So about ebay.....

AUTHOR: richard - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 04, 2013

It sucks. It has its benefits but the reality of the situation is ebay can pick and choose whoever it wants to work with. They are not even required to tell you why. But even if you ask one of the indians that run ebay as to why they will not work you......I don't even think they know. But another fact is that they allow every ching and chong in China to sell fake and knock off goods to their paying customers......yet life goes on. Explain that.
So this could be good for you. Take your shop and put your goods up for sale so you can be in control of your own money instead of the indians hanging on to it. You can even go through godaddy.com and set up your own site. But run as far away from ebay as you can.
