Ebay - PayPal refuses to protect EBay's SELLERS, Internet

PayPal refuses to protect EBay's sellers!  I'm out $37 for NOTHING because they would not protect my interest.

I sold a LOT of clothing on EBay.  My buyer did not pay for eight days, and I had to leave town for my job.  My buyer paid, I emailed my buyer about being out of town.

When I got back, I had a DISBUTE from the buyer through PayPal.  I replied through PayPal, and emailed my buyer - again.  My reply did not post on PayPal.  SO, the very next day, my PANICKED buyer escalated the disbute to a claim.  I wrote her, and I wrote PayPal, and explained that I had communicated and that the escalation to a claim was frivolous. 

The package had already gone out.  Had it not, I would have cancelled the whole blasted thing on her.  (There were about $800 worth of clothing in those boxes that she bought for $80.)  She got back to me, but claimed that she panicked because she did not hear from me.  I told her that she did not pay for eight days, and I did not panick.  So, if her package took eight days to get to her, we should be even.  

She got her package and immediately filed a claim for her money back claiming that it was not what she expected.  My reply to PayPal - NO.  It was an auction, the items were listed EXACTLY, one item at a time, and she was just reacting to our email feud.  However, I said that I was willing to refund her money, upon shipment of the boxes back to me for inspection, and WITHOUT the shipping costs - because it cost me twice as much to ship than what she paid.  PayPal NEVER responded to any of my messages and were investigating giving the buyer her money back WITH shipping costs!  Unheard of.

So, I filed a Counter Claim.  PayPal NEVER, to this day, responded to my emails, or my Counter Claim!  AND, they sent the buyer's money back in full - with shipping - without me verifying that I received the items in order! 

THEN, they charged ME for the FEES!  I emailed, and called.  The Only response I got was one telling me to CALL.  But, I could never get through!  So, I PAID the fee just so I could use PayPal again!

R-I-P-O-F-F!    EBay refunded my fees - thank you EBAY!  PayPal cost me $37 for NOTHING!

I love PayPal's type of service, their customer service stinks.  I would REALLY like to know who makes the decisions there!  Because the decision made in my case was absolutely WRONG!  PayPal did NOT conduct an investigation.  If they had, they would have noticed that my listing was clear, there were pictures of every item, and if they would have seen the emails between the buyer and me, they would have known that it was not a clear case.  They did NOT respond to my emails, or my counter claim.  I feel wronged in this case.
