Before i paid for the laptop i asked what is wrong with the laptop. I was told that it was working one day and then the next day it would not turn on, the seller stated that the battery would need to be replaced the charger would not charge the battery. I bought a charger and plugged it up when i turned it on, (the screen is really dark i had to hook it to another monitor which is not mention in the description) the system said the hard drive was missing. So i contacted the seller to explain what was going on. I realized that the hard drive was loose, fixed it contacted the seller to let them no it was just loose and here is what was said to me.

My most sincere apologies for your ignorance. If you actually read the descripion i stated that the computer stopped working and i cannot get it to turn on then they go on and say i fictitiously stated they didnt send a hard drive when i clearly stated that the computer was saying it didn't have one in it and sent another email letting the seller no it was just loose. I opened a case on ebay and they decided in the seller's favor.

I have all the emails showing how the seller never told me the hard drive was no good or that the screen was about to go out on it. Reason for the hard dirve is once your turn of the laptop you have to install windows again. Nothing mention in the description but still they said it was in the seller's favor i got ripped of by ebay and some seller named vibranium which the seller was informed that they were going to win the case anyway they got my money wont happen again. Beware of that seller on ebay

Back to clear that up a little bit

To attempt to clarify i was buying the laptop because i was told that the battery had corrosion and needed to be replaced.  That's the whole point of all of this something simple. The seller claim to had been using this laptop, one day the battery stopped charging this was in the messages we relayed back and fourth.  To clear that up about the screen display no matter how long you had been using it, there is no way that seller could not have know about that we had to hook it up to another monitor to setup windows xp on it.  Also another thing that would be a know fact is the hard drive.  If the laptop was yours and it was being used, is it possible to not no that your system needs windows to be intalled everytime you turn the laptop on. I feel like this alone is more than what was expected which was a simple battery being replaced. Also i could have waited to message the seller about the system saying that about the hard drive

At least Robert you could make sense out of that report...

It is very poorly written and I could not seperate the buyer's words from the seller's. I did understand the illegitimate complaint which is probably the reason Ebay ruled in the seller's favor.

Buyer Beware

You bought a laptop that had a known battery issue.

You complain when he says you told him that he didn't send the hard drive.  Well when you write him telling him that the laptop says the hard drive was missing..how exactly was the seller supposed to take that statement?   Yes, you did correct yourself at a later time but don't you think that you probably should have checked that before contacting the seller basically accusing him of not including the hard drive?

You seem to say that the monitor still works..it is just dark.  The seller may actually not have noticed the screen was dark because they were used to it.  Then again just like the Hard Drive, have you looked in the settings to see if you could fix the brightness?

It is not like this was a laptop in new condition, after all you needed a battery. So sorry but this sounds more like a mis-commmunication and probably on both sides.
