Highly recommended that you NOT open an eBay business or store.
eBay violates their own User Agreement and Policies.
eBay sends out emails to everyone that has bidded on your item, to anyone that has sold an item to you or anyone that has ever bought an item from you, telling them not to do business with you and that doing business with you is security and trust issue.
eBay customer service is poor, at best, and they do not respond to you and they are not helpful. eBay's phone numbers do not work and they refuse to respond. eBay's LiveHelp will not do anything for you...either they don't answer you and end the chat session before you begin or they tell you to write another email.
eBay will suspend your account and you will lose your contacts, inventory, auction items and the ability to contact customers or sellers that you have worked with, even if the item(s) are pending and/or paid for.
Our eBay feedback rating is 100%, but it doesn't seem to matter to them.
You have to be in a special group to succeed on eBay.

Happened to me

I was selling a classic car on ebay. All of a sudden, I get an email that my auctions have been cancelled for suspected fraud. Not only that, but ALL my bidders were contacted by ebay and were told that I was under investigation for fraud, and that they shouldn't deal with me.
This was to say the least, SLANDEROUS. After a week of this crap, ebay released my account and said it was a mistake, I still have all the emails 2 years later. However, they never contacted the other bidders to tell them it was an EBAY screwup, and let them know I wasn't the crook they said I was. I wrote them several times, but as you can guess, I never got a response. Luckily, my reputation preceded me and it didn't hurt me, but what about the poor guy who is just starting out?

You didn't put in any specifics to your report. I've been on Ebay for years, and never received email about someone I purchased from, nor have I had any problems as a seller. I'm really curious to know WHY ebay would send emails to those that bid on your items, or anything else for that matter.
Please fill us in an the particulars to your situation, inquiring minds want to know!!!
