On 7/12/11 I contacted in responce to an ad on ebay for computer repair. It would take me a few days to backup hard drives and reinstall the OpSys, the "Special" on eBay would end BUT because I started transaction process while the offer was active Mike Cox said he would  honer the "Special" on eBay. I was told when I was ready Mike Cox would adjust the envoice to reflect the sale price which he did and was at that time emailed envoive was paid through Paypal.

On 7/17/2011 I payed the $14.??, recieved shipping lable and shipped.

Within 2 days of ebiznex recieving my computer, I checked the status at The website responded with "Repaired sucessfully-Envoiced". At this time I paid the  I was then told my computer was not ready. I recieved no responces to emails so I opened a case in eBay to watch the transaction. As soon as I opened the case Mike Cox sent me an email stateing:

Hello Josef,

I was just about to send you a return tracking number when I noticed that you just opened a ebay case. [continued below]....
..... This is the first time we had a customer regarding a laptop repair open a case! Please close case and I will ship laptop back and update you on the tracking thank you.

 Contacted eBay Cust support & asked if Mike Cox was threating me to close the case or he would not send me my laptop back. They agreed & advised not to close the case because it could not be reopened. After,  I was sent following email , but no envoice:

 Outstanding Balance

 Total repair: $79.95 per ebay auction ad: Paid 54.95. Total due: $21.00 I payed 54.95+14.00Update: Laptop returned  through UPS NOT's useual shipper of Fedx. Without being told a tracking number, A Laptop was returned to me. Dead. It Will not post, boot etc. Its a rock. Upon further investigation I found the computer returned to me is missing both hard drives and its memory. When I sent my computer to ebiznex/Mike Cox my computer would boot and function properly except it would not except it's Nvida Driver. Vista would install a generic vga driver which displayed a lower resolution. A symptom rather common in HP DV9000 Intel Duo laptops because of an overheating problem. There was a recall but I misseed it hence the sending it to ebiznex for video repair. In hindsight what a bluner. Such a disasterous attempt at running a computer repair business I was subjested to. Told one thing then another then another then another everything conflicting. Then all communications with ebiznex stopped. Then the case inside eBAY. Returned laptop a rock without hard drives and memory. I belive I was done wrong willfully by ebiznex/Mike Cox.

So,  eBAY doesn't cover services under their buyer protection.  So I lost the case I filed against eBiznex.  The eBiznex site is no longer online, their auctions are pulled,  and they no longer answer phone calls.

Here's the kicker,  I put a new lcd in the laptop myself and turned it on to test their repair job.  The same problem I originally had is still there.  So not only did they break my lcd screen,  they also didn't fix the problem they said had been repaired.  What a joke.  I am now going through the credit card company that I used through paypal to at least get back what I payed for the "repair".  We will see what happens with that.  I'm sure paypal will have something to say about it.  More trouble for me,  oh well.

 Nothing has changed. Cox and does 1 - 10 inclusive still has my computer. No answers to emails or telephone calls. I noticed that at this point is no longer offering services or selling phones through although the web site is still up and serving customers.

 I believe a person / company should be given a chance to redeem themselves. For me, this is their last chance to take action & make things right. 

 Diddo, I am so sorry about your problems with In your post you said "...they seem dishonest or extremely incompetent..." It is going to interesting to see if it is one or the other or mabye both.

I feel your pain

I've had a similar experience with Ebiznex and was wondering if you have settled your problem with them.  I currently have a case filed with Ebay and am waiting for a response from Ebiznex.  They seem to be extremely hard to contact.  Here is what happened to me.

I purchased a repair service through this seller. The service was for a
laptop motherboard repair. I shipped them my laptop to be repaired.

It was supposedly repaired, and then, shipped back to me. When I received the laptop it was damaged due to improper packaging. The laptop was returned to me in a box that it
barely fit into. It was no surprise that it got damaged. It was not the
box I shipped it to them in.

The laptop screen was broken, it is
possible more damage than that was done as I had no way to check it.

I immediately tried to contact them through ebay messages. They did not
respond to my message.

I was finally able to get in touch with them a few days later via their phone number listed on their website. I was told that they would send me a UPS call tag to return the laptop and
that they would replace the screen and repair any damage. And also do
all the UPS insurance stuff.

I received the call tag and shipped the laptop to them a second time.
They have a way to check status on their website. After about a week, status for my
laptop showed that they had repaired it and it was on it's way back to
me again.

I received the laptop and nothing had been done to it. It was
in the same box I had shipped it to them in and the laptop screen was
still broken in the same place.

I am afraid to return it to them
anymore as they seem dishonest or extremely incompetent, and are not
responding to phone calls or ebay messages.

I will try to post back here any updates to the situation.

Stay tuned Girls and Boys - Lot's of things can happen. Heck. Cox might even make things right after all!?!? Stranger things have happened. From what I am told, Cox is now back in possession of said computer. As the situation changes, so will my . . .  My actions in responce including but not limited to the types of posts to this forum.

Belive me. I would much rather say something like the following:

 "After a complete break down in communication between buyer and seller of services. The matter at hand Re: Blah blah blah . . . has been resolved. I would like to now state my computer has been properly repaired and returned. It took a quite a while but they Cox did good after all and made things right. :)"

Then saying, well... Other stuff. >\

I know what I know. It happened to me !

I know what happened to me. I call people a lier whe they tell me one thing and do another which they did to me on a regular basis. I also call them a lier when they say something that is not true which they did to me on a regular basis. I say they are ripoffs when I am ripped off by them. I say they are ripoffs when they brick a functioning computer and do not have the guts, honesty, stones, ect, to come clean about it. I say they are ripoffs when a computer is returned to me BROKEN and without it's hard drives and memory. I say they ripped  me off when they brick a computer and do not make it right. I also think they are "Pink pany wearing girley girls with no stones" when they, in a disasterous attempt to make a simple repair of a computer, break the computer and hide from their responcability(sp) and then break off all communication. I know what happened to me. I am glad you did not have this type of experence. I take the time to do what I do here in hopes this kind of thing does not happen to others. I appresheate for being there, allowing people that have been ripped off to let others know what happened. Let the truth be known! Let freedom ring! Let the ripoffs be held accountable! And let the freedom of speach be exersized in places like I DEMAND JUSTICE. No more, no less. If Cox would not have stopped the lines of communication. If Cox would have taken responceability for their actions I would not be here saying this.

false ausation about ebiznex

first my broter had an hp laptop repaired by this companyy an hp 9000 series all went as advertised i had two laptops repaired one a compaq t 1100 and the other a hp 8000
sent out he last week in july both repaired at the price and time frame given to call some a liar and a thief in print because you might have had a bad experience is reckless i dont know ay of the parties involved personaly only speaking from my own experience
