In late June of 2006 I begin communcating with Bruce Scrug concerning selling the FreshAir unit. After several phone calls and E-mails it was agreed upon that he would send me a unit and I would place a $183.50 deposit on the unit. I was to "take my time" and run the unit and show it to those who I thought might be interested. He said that normally he gave a 2 week trial period, but since I had a few leads not to worry about that and take another week to try it.
I received the unit on the 13th of June and wasn't able to do anything with it since we were going to my daughters in NC on the 14th. We returned on the 19th and on the 20th I was able to set it up and wrote him that I had set it up and it seemed to be running ok. I believe Connie Kristensen called me during this time, but I can't remember any of our conversation. I think it was just a "welcome wagon" type of call.
For some reason communication stopped at this point. After not having my phone calls returned or my E-mail answered I wrote on the 10th of Aug. requesting the information needed to return the unit. He replied to this E-mail with a promise to call me the next day or the first of the next week. This was the last I heard from him. I left messages on his voice mail but they were not returned. Then I wrote again on the 26th of Aug. telling him again I needed the information to return the unit. No reply.

At this point I begin trying to get payments stopped, but before I could do so 3 payments of $183.50 had been taken out of my account. All I had authorized was that Bruce could take out the "deposit" of $183.50. I finally had to close my bank accounts in order to stop them from taking out payments. The next I heard from anyone was sometime in Oct. or Nov. when Connie Kristensen called regarding the payment which they could not process. I told her I wasn't making any more payments and needed to return the unit for a refund of the then $550.50. She said it would be impossible to return the unit since I had had it for so long. Wonder why I had it so long? Since then I have been having a monthly fight with Best Finance. At one point they did contact Connie and informed me that she refused to take the unit back or make a refund.

This last time Best Finance called I told them I wasn't paying any more and that I didn't even have a contract with them. I was informed they did have a contract. I asked that they send me a copy, which they did. This is a fraudulent contract. This is the first time I've seen it and my signature has been forged by Connie Kristensen. This is unlawful and is fraud. The whole transaction was a scam. I don't care how good the product is, there's no way someone is going to do up a fraudulent contract then forge my name. Caution ..........
